marclee37, 19 Apr 2016i hope google store allows filtering out those games software in the top chart. games and app... moreAgreed 100% I found myself scrolling through top charts to discover new apps less these days, as it is flooded with games. If anything, I'd manually search apps recommended by tech sites etc.
i hope google store allows filtering out those games software in the top chart.
games and applications are 2 distinct category. i always need to manually filter out all those games
I think what he meant there was it could have been higher cause the paid apps could have a higher download count if the pirated apps is not easy to install on android phones
Folks who are commenting about pirated app downloads, how is it even related to the article? You can't download "pirated" apps from play store. They are exact opposites. You do get that right? Also, no one runs a charity giving free apps, they have one way or the other for monetize the effort they've put in making the app, most common being advertisements. What this article signifies is the sheer number of app users android as a platform has.
well Google are just saying that there are 11bil. downloads, which means alot of people uses an android phone..it doesnt mean it has to be paid nor developers are getting paid about it.. and there are risk downloading a pirated app.
How many are those paid? How much did the developers earn? You can just download a pirated version of the paid app
Does it even matter?
