LoL here's iPhone 4 multitasking for you: http://www.cultofmac.com/ios-4...resets/49154
It took them 3 years and they still haven't done it right =))
practical man, 05 Jul 2010iphone has less features than any normal phone of other brands KNOWN TRUTHLess features and more bugs:
Oh and let's not forget symbians are all quality devices that will never give you issues like:
Hardware flaws (exclusively in iPhone 4):
External uninsulated antennae that cause dropped calls and slow internet connections.
Screen and back made out of cheap glassy material that both scratches and cracks.
Dead pixels and light leakage on the "Retina" display.
Inverted volume controls on some units.
SIM cards don't work in some units.
Camera doesn't work in some units.
Proximity sensor doesn't work in some units.
Microphone doesn't work in some units.
And what bugs! HARDWARE BUGS! I'm sure apple will fix the antenna issue by including a nice wallpaper with an antenna in iOS 4.01 =))))
[deleted post]Ohh how we mpurn symbian guru the 2 year old site that has covered 5% of symbian's existence =)))
Here's a list of phones that do at least 50 of those features:
Oh and... the only "UI" you have on the iPhone... is the settings menu... than there's is just a bunch of icons and a wallpaper, much like windows 3.1 but that one had real multitasking ;)

[deleted post]That was an awesome description of iPhone Cons.
I feel that when it comes to features iphone lags behind even some cheap java phones.i am still not getting why people are waiting for apple products as if they are waiting for haleys comet to appear.maybe these iphone lovers customers are just concerned about the looks and want to show off in parties and clubs.
Sam, 05 Jul 2010Of course, Apple made the first mainstream OS with a mouse and look where Microsoft and Apple ... morewhy apple could not succeed?greed! If apple were the only company in the world we wouldn't see so many people using computers.... its only Microsoft made the common man to use the computer
teddylie, 05 Jul 2010I have experienced with iPhone 3G few months ago.
I used it only for two weeks, and I sold it... moreA jailbroken iPhone 3GS can lead to trouble.
Try buying a legally unlocked one under warranty and it will work like any other mobile phone, regardless of how you hold it. My 3GS was getting a better signal in certain places that none of my previous phones ever got!
a normal person, 05 Jul 2010Nokia invented built in antenna phone 10 years back -NOT APPLE Nokia taught us how to use mob... moreOf course, Apple made the first mainstream OS with a mouse and look where Microsoft and Apple are today. The MAC OS market share is below 5% world wide. Nokia being the pioneer in the phone industry doesn't mean anything.

In America you had 2 and 3 year plans when in uk we had 12 months ..... morewe just got WINDmobile in canada in december and had my n900 since march and with WINDmobile
no contract just easy made plans so i don't have to worry about contracts which i love so much now.plus the HPSA+ network so any phone that has 1700/2100 mhz is ok to use
Nokia invented built in antenna phone 10 years back -NOT APPLE
Nokia taught us how to use mobile phone- NOT APPLE
Phone must function as a phone primarily-all other features are add on
APPLE is always making a big hype by just doing some polish to existing inventions
u dumbshells can't even understand the importance of the basic and most important features of a mobile phone, hehehehe................
Anonymous, 05 Jul 2010And for those nokia trolls lurking in here complaining of the iphone's glass casing. Bef... moreBut iPhone is expensive, man. It should have better scratch resistant then cheapo N900. Then again, iPhone display get scratch quite easy. Hahaha.
I have experienced with iPhone 3G few months ago.
I used it only for two weeks, and I sold it, because it's far from what I expected.
I bought the iPhone 3G 16gb with the Factory Unlock one. People said that the signal of iPhone with Factory Unlock is better than Software Unlock.
In fact, at the place where there's should be a good signal (full-strength signal), the signal was awful.
So, do I have to hold it in the right way?
well people complaining about n97 dont hold it and use it in the way u r using it, then u wont find any bugs and it will be the best smartphone ever...
And for those nokia trolls lurking in here complaining of the iphone's glass casing. Before you mock iphone's display, you may want to look at this n900 scratch test on youtube. Enjoy.
Anonymous, 05 Jul 2010Remind me again.... What are all you Ifans doing on N8 and other Nokia/Symbian forums??Sorry but I don't bother commenting or reading posts about n8. I read articles about it, but i have no business reading or posting there so I can't comment on that.
I bought a Nokia N70 when it was released and I was making and receiving video calls from the first moment, and that was more than 3 years ago!! And I live in a town in Spain, not in Tokio :D I was able to do so with people with other phones obviously, what you can't do with the iphone. And to loose connection... well, you should put your hand on the top of the phone, which is an impossible way to hold a phone. Thus, I never had connection issues being outside and elevator :D
To sum up, I think Steve is a hippie, because the kind of stuff apple is saying last days can only come after acid ingestion. Have a nice day mates!
