AnonD-234961, 24 Apr 2016I would say that Sony's approach with using a 4K screen but using 4K only when needed, is best... moreSony did the worst. The switching take time. It is FHD most the time but battery life is pathetic than phone in QHD.
Samsung realized the need for QHD back in 2014!. First Gear VR was in 2014 too.
This is the difference between technology leaders with far insight and the wannabes.
i just hope it won't be QHD all the time. while VR might require such big resolutions, for regular use it just drains the battery faster without providing any real benefit. at least i haven't found any. battery life, however, is quite the problem more often than not. low capacity batteries, overly powerful hardware, poor software optimization, whatever the case may be. and quick charge technologies can't be the answer. so instead of finding new ways to consume even more power, i'd prefer if companies worked towards better power efficiency and battery longevity first and foremost. smartphones are already plenty powerful
Ok, Fine. At least give us the option to manually set the Display Resolution to whatever we please.
AnonD-404798, 23 Apr 2016UHD is minimal 4K or 8K .
QHD is 2K .No mate. It is as i said. Told you that HD-720p, FHD-1080p, UHD (QHD) -2K, etc.
Have a good day.
This time, i must admit that Huawei, acting in a correct direction. It will be a future mobile phones.
AnonD-442781, 23 Apr 2016Did you look at what I asked you to? The g3 had a 1440p and dropped from 80-60. The s6 had 144... moreWhen you're not prepared, professional level, and you're just an amateur, then you will see responses such as yours. You understand very difficult. Boy, do explain once anew, what it only matters is the material it, is built battery, except that feed it. Counts of battery capacity to regenerate during lightning. No longer continue in my terms scientifically, that look like stars. In short, the influence of other equipment from a phone, concerning the battery is minor.
Not only look up tomorrow. This is the great problem with the management of Huawei.
Huawei the best.
About time we had, those from Huawei, understand that this is the future, 2K.
I would say that Sony's approach with using a 4K screen but using 4K only when needed, is best. On VR you can use 4K (when the graphics processors will be fast enough) but on normal usage you can use 1080p by combining 4 pixels into one.
AnonD-404798, 23 Apr 2016UHD is minimal 4K or 8K .
QHD is 2K .You're wrong. Huh. UHD is 2K. UHD is the correct term, but is used in some Asian regions, and the term QHD, instead of UHD.
4K is SUHD. For 8 K not have yet, to set the official term of reference .
2k means A Bigger GPU for kirin !
AnonD-514800, 23 Apr 2016It was time that Huawei to pass at 2K, namely, UHD (QHD) resolution. Congratulations.UHD is minimal 4K or 8K .
QHD is 2K .
Huawei finally took the right decision for the future.
Oleguson, 23 Apr 2016Mate Grey, the life of a battery is given primarily, to those battery manufacturing technology... moreDid you look at what I asked you to? The g3 had a 1440p and dropped from 80-60. The s6 had 1440p and a smaller battery, but dropped from 83-73.
The manufacturer of the battery means absolutely nothing. Stop talking nonsense.
It was time that Huawei to pass at 2K, namely, UHD (QHD) resolution. Congratulations.
It is a requirement of the future, this route at least 2K. Huawei understood. Proceed correctly.
AnonD-442781, 23 Apr 2016Amoled impementation of 1440p takes less battery than LCD. Look it up. Or just compare the bat... moreMate Grey, the life of a battery is given primarily, to those battery manufacturing technology .. This gives LIFETIME mainly.
Huawei normal and natural reaction. If they do not produce future smart phones with 2K technology for minimal, risk having their competition with other manufacturers.
