I haven't really used Opera since it started to use Chromium engine but it looks like that now it's worth a try.
wer, 06 May 2016then easily you can say "bye bye youtube" if they gonna charge for watching in futureThen bye bye youtube. No more effeminate men squeeling "omg, omg" whilst playing GTA 5. I'm sure I can live without.
xcv, 06 May 2016Vast majority of sites and YouTubers are biased and bribed indirectly. So, ad blocking is just... moreNo AD blocking is not justified it almost never is since when you use AD block it's not youtube that suffers but the content creators think a little bit about your favourite Youtuber's how will they be able to produce content if they don't get paid for it?

Subzz, 05 May 2016There is always third-party ad-blockers out there for those 'limited data' users.. But adblock... moreVast majority of sites and YouTubers are biased and bribed indirectly. So, ad blocking is justified. And cry me a river about poor Google.
Opera for browsing, uc browser for downloading.
Yeeeha!
I love Opera. I just wish they brought back bookmark manager and download manager like it was in the previous versions of Opera..
Anonymous, 05 May 2016Adblockers make everyone win, youtubers get paid because the spammers/ad-buyers think visitors... moreThere is always third-party ad-blockers out there for those 'limited data' users.. But adblocks turning mainstream can lead to a bad future.. If there comes zero ads on Youtube due to all browsers having ad-blockers built in, youtubers would be paid no revenue from ads, resulting in also zero earning by Google Youtube themselves, ultimately turning Youtube into a forced-paid service.. I'm still okay with watching YT ads for 5secs and wasting data of 10 bucks rather than paying 100 bucks as subscription fees for Youtube..
Not just youtube, all websites, blogs would ceaze to zero profit, ultimately turning everything to a paid service or a biased review (reviewer paid by companies to say this and that)..
Anonymous, 05 May 2016Adblockers make everyone win, youtubers get paid because the spammers/ad-buyers think visitors... moreCorrect,i read on one site that 73 pecent of ppls data is taken up through adds,my browser (not opera) i hasent to ad blocks all adds, and only 9gb of storage on my phone, where as opera takes too much, just opening it kills ya ram !
Opera is still unusable because of how it handles imported... bookmarks!
Subzz, 05 May 2016So how would the bloggers and Youtubers earn now, if Adblock turns mainstream? For sure I h... moreYoutubers should get real jobs and not "work", make money, just opening boxes... or commenting while playing games live...!
So it is suitable for browsing GSMA ;-)

Youtubers do not get more money just because you suffer while paying, bandwith cost money, to see those pointless ads!
Anonymous, 05 May 2016The main reason why I'm not using Opera anymore is because it's using the Chromium engine - wh... morethat's not true. they added some features from chromium. but that doesn't mean they are using it. actually opera has many html5 features that is not yet fully implemented on other browsers
opera is faster than chrome and Firefox. you can feel it if your connection somehow gets slow. and it uses less memory compared to them. If there were more marketing effort from their part nobody will use the other two. many people just doesn't know how good it is.
AnonD-424566, 05 May 2016What what ? Trouble reading i take it,Maybe. There's many made-up words there, and it doesn't make sense.
Opera always been faster than Chrome in my opinion. I love it. Chrome sucks.
So how would the bloggers and Youtubers earn now, if Adblock turns mainstream?
For sure I have Adblock on my chrome desktop browser. But I try to keep it turned off, most of the times, and only turn it on, when a website is just unreadable and filled with ads allover..
But adblock turnin mainstream is simply not a good idea. Like just think, how Gsmarena earns? Ads, ri8? Same goes for all other websites too..
The main reason why I'm not using Opera anymore is because it's using the Chromium engine - which is indeed fast, but it's very limited, and lacks a lot of features.
The main reason I use opera as my default browser on PC is for its Keyboard Shortcuts and gestures.
