Needs quad core to be serious. Needs small bezel with 14" screen to be wanted.
Anonymous, 10 May 2016Terrible idea....why? they both are very similatr tablets
doubtful, at least the 4K part is not going to happen. 16:9 tablets just don't sell.
Will it keep the 2:3 aspect ratio though? Microsoft must already have learned that no one wants a 16:9 tablet.
Linas, 09 May 2016Have anyone actually used USB-C? It sucks... I am unfortunate enough to have Mac 12 as one of ... moreThere are small adapter cables for USB c ports, just use one of those, if you have trouble finding equipment witch USB C connectors.
As for the lack of ports, that has nothing to du with USB C, that only has to do with Apple making a really bad decision.
USB charging on standard Micro USB is quite slow. There are quick charger versions, but you are not likely to bump in to a friend that has such a charger.
With USB C, you will get quicker charging from anyone that has a phone with USB C port. They will get more by the day.
And there are yet again adapter, so you can just bring a small adapter instead of a charger, and it will work with any charger with USB-port.
Sorry to disappoint. SurfaceBook 2 won't come until late of this year at the earliest and only when Intel has released its Kaby Lake CPU.
I always thought 3000x2000 resolution screen was a bit low. 3840x2160 would be much better!
This is clearly false. The Surface Book was just announced in October of 2015. Why would Microsoft update the Surface Book so early in less than a year. Think about it.
i hope they merge surface and surface book so we can buy the "tablet" and choose which "keyboard" suits us better instead of having 2 differente things
luqman98, 09 May 2016Speaking about Nvidia, why the new GTX1070/GTX1080 are way cheaper than Nvidia's previous GPU cards? They are very much more expensive.
Gtx 970 started at $330 and GTX 980 started at $500
1070/1080 are more expensive than that at launch
970/980 also offered greater boost in performance than the previous generation. The gpu market is slowing down...
GPU, 09 May 2016Apparently this is set to have the nVidia GTX1070M/1080M options.Speaking about Nvidia, why the new GTX1070/GTX1080 are way cheaper than Nvidia's previous GPU cards?
GPU, 09 May 2016Apparently this is set to have the nVidia GTX1070M/1080M options. With the matching price tag.
Anonymous, 09 May 2016im not apple fan but they are doing this "future thing" you've mentioned for about 3yHave anyone actually used USB-C? It sucks... I am unfortunate enough to have Mac 12 as one of my work toys.. it is terrible... OK lets be fair it is beautiful looking ... But does The Samsung 12.2 and Asus Zenbook. Not only they look the same, but perform better and are more practical. That USB-C is just not ready yet.. Obviously, somebody have to start and someday the market going to use it. First of all it is not next gen.. USB 3.1 is still the latest standard, USB-C is just type of connector it could be only capable of USB 1.1 standard. It is not faster either - USB-C 3.1, will have same performance as standard USB 3.1... only difference being it is reversible. The mac would be OK if it would have at least 2-3 of those connection, but having only one .. the only option is to have USB hub.. which all together defeats the point of stylish, slim and light laptop? Isn't it? SO no thank you ... I will stick with standard USB until it is finally time for reversible version (and it is not yet).. Finally, please - do not bring USB-C to mobiles.. USB-Micros is by far better, more standartised, smaller and obviously more common.. you don't want to have phone with USB-C if you round out of the battery..
