Saurabh , 18 May 2016dogs didn't give zenfone 2 users even 5.1 forget 6.0...asus is a cheater. now they will never ... moreYea agree. Asus has poor aftermarket support for newer Android versions. They better release a boot unlocker ASAP so independent developers can develop leaner up-to-date ROMS, or at least delete the bloat of useless bundled apps.
I wish Asus did something like the LG G5, a nearly unibody design with a removable battery and the possibility of installing third party modules. That would be closer to my idea of a smartphone "revolution". Though of course G5 be the first modular cellphone, it would be less hype than merely copying some Apple/Samsung design.
Anonymous, 18 May 2016No way the flagship should be 6.2' inches and above as we like That's why all the major flagships this year are under the 5.5" range lol
Can someone explain to me what makes these mid-tier phones so revolutionary? Companies gotta stop overhyping their products and just call it what it is - an everyday performing phone sold at a fair price.
Hoping for a good midrange from ASUS:
- SD650/652+ AD510
- 3GB Ram, 32GB Rom, Uninstallable Bloatware/Preloaded Apps Without Root
- Removable 4000+ mAh, Quickcharge 3.0 with compatible Charger in the box
- Pricing above Xiaomi/Lenovo Rivals but below Huawei/Samsung/Sony/Oppo Rivals, for maximum build quality for the price
- Actually i'm hoping for Onscreen Virtual Nav Bar but looking back at ASUS history it seems fair to ask a bright BACKLIT Nav Buttons, that changes colour?
Most other brands that stick with real nav buttons such as Samsung & Lenovo only have WHITE colour even if they are backlit, the cheaper ones are not even backlit. So Real Nav Buttons that changes colour much like LED Notification will be regarded as innovation. I love my Onscreen Nav Bar buttons on my Sony devices because it is ALWAYS BACKLIT & will hide when viewing Pictures/Videos, sometimes even go transparent. Hoping on Motorola & LG devices also the same.
Anonymous, 18 May 2016if isnt to the camera, then for what? for the "CLARITY" back body? hahaha :D
and about OIS,... moreBefore commenting on other people's theories have one yourself.
As I've also said, the words could be referring to the company itself. I was merely linking the words to possibilities.
Definition of clarity;
1.
clearness or lucidity as to perception or understanding; freedom from indistinctness or ambiguity.
2.
the state or quality of being clear or transparent to the eye; pellucidity:
'the clarity of pure water'.

and about OIS, I not too sure it -_-
AnonD-538494, 18 May 2016I see. Fair enough. You get what you pay for in this world. (ˆJˆ)..but don't lose hope, mate.. maybe next year we can see affordable phones with dual lenses :)
What a drag...
Hoping for -
1. 5 or 5.2" SAMOLED FHD display.
2. SD820 or SD652 SOC
3. Removable >3000mAH battery
4. MicoSD Slot
AnonD-538494, 18 May 2016I am also not getting too excited about this Zenvolution. No dual camera (the new trend in sm... moreYea you do make a good set of observations from the video.
The dual camera tech would've made it stand out more from the crowd and would've been another point in their favour.
I will still stick with the OLED possibility just on the basis of the video section surrounding the UNLIMITED part. I may be wrong but as I've mentioned in a recent comment/reply it is all speculation at the moment.
I love the G4, I missed out on it this time and I won't go G5. P9 is my next, I think.
Anonymous, 18 May 2016The word "CLARITY" mean that camera. I think it will has an OIS cause that camera is stand out... moreYou think or it does? There's no actual mention of anything on the video so it's all speculation. It is a good possibility though.
i hope zenfone 3 max will feature a big battery and quick charge. i didn't buy asus zenfone max bacause it does not have quick charge.
Probably all of new mid/high end smartphones are packed with fast cpu, decent ram and offers pretty much same features. The only key factors is design, screen, battery, size. If ZenPhone Max will have the same design as ZenBook Pro and decent screen, I'm gonna buy it immediately.
Asus please make thin bezels this time
Make a phones with internal 64gb and external 2tb n can sell with offer mamory card with phone.
i m excited about asus zenfone 3 series but , only one thing i dont like is the rear camera bump , this is the onlu thing asus has to change or if they r giving the bump then that bump has give a glass protection for camera lense.

It's not even announced yet....
ZF2 was selling like hot cakes thanks to the price, a lot of ram, nice design and good build quality. Now the ZF3 is expensive, not a lot of ram, horrible design and unknow build quality. The forumula already tells us it will fail.
