Apple starts free case program, delays white iPhone 4 yet again - read the full textApple started today the iPhone 4 free case program as promised. The whole procedure is done via a dedicated app directly from the phone. Meanwhile Apple quietly delayed the white iPhone 4 until the end of the year. Right on time, Apple launched its iPhone 4 free case program. If you've already...

Recall? Dont think so. Heres a newsflash... Nokia N series handsets sometimes freeze up, Sony Ericcsons sometimes freeze up... Theres been plenty of repeat faults over the last few years and the manufacturers hardly ever seem to address the issues. Apple have been jumped on by the media but the truth is that the iphone is one of the most stable handsets around. At least they stay switched on, which is something you couldnt even expect of quite a few high end handsets over the last few years!

PS: The PLASTIC is not a "as a result of a flaw in the phone", but given free as they "like ther customers" Jobs(2010)

'adaptive interfacing'

Adapt your level of phone handing to involve the product to perform at it's peck the antenna system design is range searching.

'poor or incorrect adaptive interfacing'

Poor understanding and involvement of your product will cause the same poor result. Interfacing incorrectly on the Antenna strip separator will produce poor ranging results.

Simple and part of the known evolution of products, which Apple,
and there CEO is bringing forth into this industry, build upon decades of experience.

I again would like others here to join me in thanks to Apple as we both enjoy this adaptive interfacing future with our products.

Black is more popular model anyway, so what if white ones are delayed, the black versions are outselling it anyway.

> In reply to doh3rty @ 2010-07-27 11:54 from mqM5 - click to readApple is pushing the limits, we have to take on board these new technologies and adapt to them.
Like we Adapted to automatic gearboxes from Manual gear selection choice, we should adapt to future methods of phone interfacing i like to call it.
"Hold it different" is a crude term for adaptive interfacing.
And gets bad press.
Basically Apple is involving everyone in a new level of technology ,
and i know people hate change, but 'adaptive interfacing' is going to push the envelope, get on board or be left behind!

Thank you Apple, push forward

> In reply to iphone4fan @ 2010-07-27 07:34 from PTUv - click to readyou shouldnt have to hold a phone in a spesific way thsts a major design fault and steve "gimmie all your money" jobs needs to accept that

i still think rather than slate all other companies they bite the bullet and admit fault followed by a swift product recall to get the problem fixed rather than just saying we'll give you a free case, you shouldnt need a case in the first place if apple had made a working product.

The black model is more popular, so i don't think the delay in the white is really an issue.

Thank you Apple, hope to get my credit for my case soon.

Don't be so negative, there isn't an issue if you hold it properly.
My question is to thanks Steve for the kind offering he gives.

this is good I mean they're at least doing something. obviously they should stop blaming other companies. bu t I do think that maybe re-design the phone and do it right this time is the best solution.

I never wanted an iPhone, but because I work for o2, now have the iPhone4, was going to sell it but grown to like, never experienced dropped calls or the signal thing unless I grasp the phone like a monkey, it's not natural to grasp the phone that way.
IMO, the phone has a slight issue and iPhone fanboys will defend it, yet iPhone haters will slate it.
Me in the middle, couldn't care less, good phone not great and IMO if i wasn't working for o2 wouldn't get it, and is not worth the money that Apple do charge.
