any comments on the "news"?

90% signal loss is quite a bit. I'm used to designing systems to 75% signal loss. is there any standards on what a "bar" stands for. is it a linear? logarithmic? does each manufacture have there own standards?

Guys, be serious!

If the iPad was supposed to replace laptops do you think Apple would stop making MacBooks, MacBook Airs and MacBook Pro's??

Come on now.

if you bought something..specially one that claims to be "state of the art" you should use it anyway you want, most importantly in the most conventional way...right??

so yeah..if you want to drive on the right or even on the left side, you can do so..and it will not have any major effect...

you hear this "iphone4fan "

read and comprehend...

You say "Want to complain and post something on the Apple forum on their own website?
Too bad, it get's deleted!".

In the Apple forums if a thread on a topic already exists they delete it, to get rid of duplicates.

So what?

It's their forum, their rules.

From Nokia, HTC and others?

They've been doing it for years.

Why is Apple being singled out?

Why are their phone's being subjected to special tests?

Why aren't iPhone owners complaining in large numbers?

People hardly notice signal loss unless there is a dropped call and that is what made the Apple iPhone 4 Antenna issue more popular.

> In reply to iphone4fan @ 2010-07-28 07:27 from PTUv - click to readwow, so according to your logic we should just hold the phone the way Apple wants or we could (actually, WILL) lose the signal and have dropped calls?

tell your employer (apple / steve jobs) i'm not stupid enough to buy a phone that does not even have the capability to hold a signal long enough if i happen to hold it the way I (the buyer) want!

this is getting ridiculous : apple blames everyone except their faulty phone and does not get it in their minds to recall every phone and make it better.
i think a lot of potential customer would prefer this to the silly case they get (and which is useless by the way!).

apple is not delivering the goods and if their brands-bashing is any indication instead of saying "mea culpa", then indeed, they don't "baby" their livelihood, they just chase them away if they voice their opinions.
Want to complain and post something on the Apple forum on their own website?
Too bad, it get's deleted!
Want to voice your opinion here?
Too bad, apple employees visit this site and counteract every opinion as i'm quite sure it will happen to mine.

apple doesn't need to baby their livelihood (paying customers), they need to grow up and take responsibility!
