After copying the Apple Iphones saveral years, now the Samsung start copying the Sony Xperia Z5 and Htc 9 for it mid-range, you can also refer the LG X5 almost do the same strategy. That's is Korea companies.
Samsung is a good known brand...
Why they need of copying???
Looks and now even colours???
Really makes no sence
Just saying they should bring back the removable battery giving options and variety to people
Anonymous, 25 May 2016610 or 617 or 650 it is the same processor lol just a tad clocked higher
801 is way outdate... moreSnapdragon 650: 2x a72cores @1.8GHz + 4x a53cores @1.2GHz
Snapdragon 617: 8x a53cores @ 1.5GHz
If not for the 32-bit nature of Kryo 801, I think it's better than bunched-up a53's. 617 is 64-bit, supports up to 4gb RAM, quickcharge 3, and so on. The thing is, the memory speed in 801 is superior than 617 plus its raw performance cpu&gpu.
So where the hell were you when these things came out?
Why does it all have to look the same. and that price...whoa...really?
nickname, 25 May 2016htc a9 eh!No its is more iphone 6 front+ M8 back.
Htc A9 is A complete clone of iphone6.
Why are the edges looking a lot like an iPhone. Hmmm........ I don't want people to say that I'm a poor man because of how my phone looks. They might just say that my phone is an iPhone clone. 4GB of RAM just tells a lot that Samsung is really not good at multitasking with just 3GB.
Gon-j, 25 May 2016Snapdragon 617..$330..hmm. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Should've been a 650 SoC or 801(if not for it... more610 or 617 or 650 it is the same processor lol just a tad clocked higher
801 is way outdated
808 is good
We need to stop referring to these socs or even phones
801 devices are way updated and are not up to the new software
Snapdragon 617..$330..hmm. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Should've been a 650 SoC or 801(if not for its 32-bit-ness) but Samsung really wants to rob you.
pika2000, 25 May 2016Yeah. Samsung hardly ever updates anything outside their Galaxy Sx lineup. Even then there are... moreThe problem is that you are paying a lot for their midrange phones
Chinese oems sell you flagships for less than the price of a modrange Samsung or LG. Take the Huawei P9, it costs 420$ where samsung A9 costs as much as a s7
pika2000, 25 May 2016Yeah. Samsung hardly ever updates anything outside their Galaxy Sx lineup. Even then there are... moreEven if it launches with the new os, lets say android n, it will get updated after every phone is updated to android O and probably after more than a year and you will not get the new touchwiz and will be stuck with the old ones
Look at what happened to the note 4 and it is a flagship
Anonymous, 25 May 2016Htc and apple do not own antenna lines And if this phone does not have usb c or compatible wi... moreYeah. Samsung hardly ever updates anything outside their Galaxy Sx lineup. Even then there are many Galaxy S models that don't see updates. Considering Samsung are still releasing new phones with Lollipop (2 yr old OS), this should be one of those phones where you will simply be stuck with whatever you get out of the box.
