Android not like iOS. My old iPhone 4 is more laggy than my Galaxy Nexus. I love my Galaxy Nexus but Im still can't accept that GNex didn't accept stock kitkat.

NJ, 29 May 2016I think Google should start issuing notices to the companies which delays Android Updates. No ... moreThis! If Google Play Services made a test for known vulnerabilities and then started to display security warnings, people would be much more aware of the issue and start demanding updates to their manufacturers.
I don't say "ban them" because, more likely than not, we would only be pissing "end-costumers" that in turn would blame Google rather than the real culprit.
Start issuing the warnings in a way that suits the critical nature of the security flaws. This would be a "win" for everyone.
My A7 is still on lollipop, it was on KitKat for a long time too
6.0.1 with May security patch, hope my phone keeps getting updated all the way to Android N.

Marshmallow on two phones out of the box, Lollipop on the other two. Don't have Kitkat at all anymore. Oh, one has Windows 8.5 that was promised to get Windows 10 months ago (but I care less and less about it)
Still on Android kitkat 4.4.2
CM13
I bought an Android one phone for $80 and it was updated to marshmallow as soon as google released it. I was very surprised. Android one is a good initiative by google. But most people don't know about android one.
What?! Wait, if I could upgrade my Symbian and my iOS 7.1.2 to Android 6.0.x Marshmallow or even jump straight to 7.0 N, I'd likely become one happy Android adopter, if that's even possible, obviously not as it stands now. Doi. So, wait, what?! o.O
What ever Google decide to do about the fragmentation problem, then HTC are going to be near the top of the list.
I have never received one update direct from HTC in 8 years of using their kit, usually because I root them first and then run roms, because I know that most of the time no update will arrive,no matter how long I wait, got a crud desire 510e that won't root for some reason,so I still am on k-k 4.4.4,and don't expect to ever get any updates,HTC are one of the worst big firms for lack of updates..they deserve all the crap that Google throw their way, their fast enough to take cash from people, but after that they don't care....
Yes, using marshmallow in dreams
Android N welcome. But Google Guys, please listen to your die-hard fans. As for me:
1. Complete app control especially background apps
2. Smart battery management
3. Dark themes
4. Multiformat media player
Will Android N be likely to seed to Motorola devices? Specifically, the Moto G 3rd gen?
KitKat :(
