Motorola could provide Froyo to only 2 phones in the US so far and we are already in 2011 and people are expecting Gingerbread in their phones already! Many people in other continents are angry, it appears that Motorola is shrinking outside the US!
One can surely expect that they wont be able to sell so many Android devices next time in Europe, Asia etc. after this huge software update/support disaster.

Yes, MOTOROLA ia like the fiery phoenix now coming out of the ashes,..., and yet when it comes to reporting, GSMARENA sucks! They will tell the news first with "ooohs" and "ahhhs". Then what next, they will say the negative word "Bad thing" or something else of similar intonation. Biased. Prejudiced. Nonsense reporting. Always been that way.

> In reply to [deleted post]If there was anything inappropriate I guess the moderators did their job and deleted it. Who cares about that toy phone and its dropping signal bars and calls when a week ago I made a call with my Motorola using 0-1 signal bars, in the middle of a forest, and successfully asked for direction. Motorola is a tool first, and a well designed entertainment device second.

Let's hope they update milestone with froyo. Otherwise, they risk losing their new loyal customers like me.
And my milestone may be my first and last moto.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-07-30 06:45 from ib4d - click to readThat isn't entirely true. Motorola still survives on low-end markets and PDA smartphones like the Ming line over at China while thoroughly enjoying its successes with Android. So what if Motorola relies heavily on it? Samsung, LG and HTC are making a transition to Android as well, so that means they're also relying on the platform at some point.
Good to see Motorola getting healthier in sales again. Indeed Android is its saving grace, and also its springboard to making better and better phones in the future.

RAZR still needs to sell about 18 million more units to pass Nokia 3210 (2nd best selling phone in the world), and about 70 million more to catch Nokia 1100.
