This isn't a bad phone at all at the price but make no mistake - YU made a marketing gimmick to sell the phone by calling it a "flagship" and then doing silly things like reducing the price from 19,999 to 12,999.
Yu CEO Rahul Sharma should break that phone like he did with the ship in the teaser video.
ArnabJ, 31 May 2016There are many 1st time buyers. They look at the reviews on the Product page itself amd order... moreHello guys I am just searching a better option of redmi mi note 3, is this will be a good option of note 3????? ArnabJ, 31 May 2016Exclusivity is a matter of time. It will soon come offline. Either officially or unofficially... moreyes ... it might be available at other online stores later but YU sells its phone online only .. and as for ur "unofficial " channels .. they don't sell devices in huge numbers ... maybe a few thousands .... the bottomline is this ... this is a FAIL ... and micromax r too ignorant to realize their mistake .... they r just digging their own grave (well they won't endure losses due to their pathetic low cost phones sold offline ) ..
co0l1992, 31 May 2016Mehh..they should rename it YuniPorn..ha ha ha ha !
zeus, 31 May 2016the article clearly mentions exclusively via flipkart .... and from what i know YU phones r so... moreExclusivity is a matter of time.
It will soon come offline. Either officially or unofficially.
Even Moto devices were exclusive to Flipkart. Now they are even sold via Amazon.in and Snapdeal(Not sure here, but I remember reading somewhere that MOTO E Gen 2 was available via Snapdeal).
Dark, 31 May 2016Speaking of chipsets, who told you Indians know nothing about chips? MTK devices sells good as... moreEither you read my post in wrong tone or you took it in offense.
I never told that Indians don't know regarding cheapsets. I told majority don't know the difference between a SD and a MTK. All they care about are number of cores.
Majority (Not all) has the believe in India that Quantity > Quality.
Criticalnothypocrite, 31 May 2016All of my friends know about chipsets and all prefer snapdragon, many hate mediatek. You your friends do not make the majority. Even my friend circle prefers SD and willingly waits for few more days or weeks to buy a SD based device instead of MTK based. But we don't make up the majority of buyers.
India has a basic mantra. "Quantity > Quality." I am pretty sure you won't deny this.
pritvi, 31 May 2016if I am not wrong it is online only device. most buyers buying online are aware of the chipset... moreThere are many 1st time buyers.
They look at the reviews on the Product page itself amd order based on that.
I totally agree with your point that online buyers will be knowing about chipsets but that's not the case always.
Just to provide some weight on my point, few days back one of my neighbors called me and asked about J5 2016 from Samsung. When I asked what he was looking for in the device, he replied good battery and Camera. No other thing mattered to him.
And that's just one example. There are similar more.
swirly, 31 May 2016P10 is no flagship-class SoC. Don't be in denial, YU; this is a midrange phone.p10 is not even a decent midrange soc in 2016 .
Rohit12, 31 May 2016it will sell both online and offline channel. the article clearly mentions exclusively via flipkart .... and from what i know YU phones r sold online only ... the other micromax phones r sold via offline as well online channels
hello gsmarena, u made a false statement that this YU phone looks like redmi note 3... it does not. it's a copy of the meizu design redmi note 3 is far from being ugly so I'd suggest u guys correct that in an update or something
better to wait for Le2 then buying this slow ugly cheap rubbish copy of meizu note 3.
ArnabJ, 31 May 2016You must be living in your dreams. India is one of those places where most smartphone buyer... morethis device will sell via online channels ... and people who gets device online have a decent knowledge of smartphones .... so this device would fail for sure (its specs r no match for its competitors coz its not abt mediatke ... they used helio p10 which is no match for helio x10) ....micromax sells most of its devices through offline channels and canvas series brings profit for them .... YU sub brand is a big mistake from micromax .
mob master, 31 May 2016I was thinking they r launching Flagship phone.but this is just......they launched yuphoria as a flagship it has 410 LOL
