Oh come on DELL, I've read this in the net for a few months now, nothing materialize yet. Other brands have sprung up on their production and DELL just stays out. What's the matter, afraid of the market challenge. Don't forget about the internal memory, produce with bigger memory not just 512 MB. Your are going loose market share if you don't start producing. Better do it now when I still have the money.

You must stop buying HTC Phones, HTC lacks in producing phones with larger/bigger memory. They specializes in producing phones with less memory only. Check out on their track record. Even if your HTC WILDFIRE gets Froyo 2.2, it's not get you anywhere. But don't worry, Android is planning for following O.S. Upgrade and it's definitely going to help you out.
2011 - Android Gingerbread 3.0
2012 - Android Butterbread 3.2
2013 - Android Breadcrumbs 4.0
In the meantime, enjoy your HTC Wildfire

People when is Android 2.2 coming for HTC Wildfire, my phone's mem is full and in order to download new software, I have to end up deleting the old software as cannot install programes on the mem card at the moment with Android 2.1.
Apart from that, itz an amazing phone. An Iphone 4 killer.
Check it out, the IFans are dying out of JEALOUSY.
Have a nice weekend.
Cheers!!
