AnonD-551737, 22 Jun 2016Now i really liking the iphone no worry of updates and future software upgrade! well those iphone updates are causing terrible slow downs on those iphones. and obviously apple does that on purpose so that u buy a new one.
Anonymous, 22 Jun 2016If so, why do people insist in buying a nexus phone while other OEM phones have more features ?You don't know? Developer support. The XDA community will provide support far beyond Google. Also kernels and roms and nexus specific tweaks you just can't do with any other phone.
Typed on a Nexus 6P running Chroma
AnonD-505729, 22 Jun 2016Tell me one Iphone 4s that runs ios 9 smoothly, google doesn't want to make the nexus utter cr... moreYou have to consider 5s and not 4s. Apple supports the devices while it is notorious for pushing customers to buy new phones. But indeed it is google which forces its customers to change their phones after 2 years, maybe because the phone wont turn on after 2 years of usage. Plastic fragile devices such as 5x (which i owned)
AnonD-505729, 22 Jun 2016Tell me one Iphone 4s that runs ios 9 smoothly, google doesn't want to make the nexus utter cr... moreweird... 4 of my friends, my father, elder brother's ip4s (total of 6 of it) are currectly on IOS9, which what i know are all of them say having slowdown and lag issues.
my cousin using IP5 having slowdown (but not lag issues) how come urs ip4s still no lags? comparing urs ip4s which only have zer0 3rd party apps installed and only use as basic system apps only? phone calls, sms, calendar, calculators.. alarm? which if so... all my 4years old android devices without any update are still same smooth as hell and no lag XD!
Now i really liking the iphone no worry of updates and future software upgrade!
AnonD-366586, 22 Jun 2016This is why Apple is appreciated when it comes to updatesTell me one Iphone 4s that runs ios 9 smoothly, google doesn't want to make the nexus utter crap, because newer os require more ram etc.
AnonD-366586, 22 Jun 2016This is why Apple is appreciated when it comes to updatesLolwat? They unceremoniously drop support without informing users and even artificially stop releasing updates...
AnonD-551693, 22 Jun 2016nexus 4*, not neuxsgood question bro...like it
Moto xt1053(2013) endup with boot optimizing every boot after update to 5.1. Motorola owned by google when 5.1 updated, and the fact some nexus had the same problem, therefore google has a duty of care fix all line moto x 2013 before stop service
nexus 4*, not neuxs
This is why Apple is appreciated when it comes to updates
iOS supports device software updates longer than Android. Nuff said.
This is the reason why custom ROMs exist most OEM don't update their phone once.
I love CM,Mokee,Slim and XDA developers for providing updates to moto E.They are much better than these OEMs.
I am rocking mokee 6.0.1 in my first gen moto E.

AnonD-97765, 22 Jun 2016No Android update. Only Miui updateMi 3 from 2013 got Marshmallow. Enough said.
AnonD-364791, 22 Jun 2016In that case Xiaomi is better. Mi3 still getting updates and now upgradable to MIUI8.No Android update. Only Miui update
Anonymous, 22 Jun 2016i used my LG P880 for 3 years. to be fair, though, there never really were any updates to begi... moreNo cyanogen mod for my Z5c because of the fingerprint. No custom roms available for this. But Sony update this to 6.0.1 so it's fine and so far no issues.. Big oem don't update their phone frequently because they release an update almost perfect. If they update frequently more bugs will show up and everyone will suffer... As long as software is stable without issues I am fine with it, I think most of the people will agree with me....

*On a positive side, Samsung, and other OEMs will provide software upgrade support for more than 2 years because it comes late :P
I am not a person who buys the devices within 2 years.
I have never used Nexus device and after Nexus 6P, I felt like moving to Nexus devices. I love to have a fast update which my current and previous devices lack. Unfortunately, I am not that comfortable with bigger screen devices, especially with one hand operations.
And this is very sad to see that Google's own device line will get software upgrade support for only 2 yrs.
I have a love and hate relationship with Apple. I like certain things of iOS and many things of Android. For me, Nexus device was the alternative for other OEMs and iPhone. Now, I might try iOS maybe once to see. At least, I know I will get updates for at least 3 years.
AnonD-364791, 22 Jun 2016In that case Xiaomi is better. Mi3 still getting updates and now upgradable to MIUI8.You are right... Xiaomi is an exception.. The problem is there is always something wrong in the rom. Always needed fixes. finally they almost fixed there problems they change in to new version.. Then start all over again.. I had two of them before Redmi2 and redmi note 3 same story for both.
