> In reply to GRV @ 2010-08-27 19:09 from u1Bi - click to readI think Satio was just a stop gap measure to keep business going while they were working on the androids. I don't expect another Symbian SE. Thats why the could care less about bug fixes or updates. But they are taking far too long with this fone, HTC already has Wildfire and Aria while Samsung has Galaxy Spica and now Galaxy 3. Even LG has a fone in this segment, dont know what it is coz I dont care for LG but SE are VERY late with this device.

Allright... How could you expect "the super phone" for 300 USD only? If you want sth with a Xenon flash, 5MP or more tham 5MP camera, display that's NOT TFT, for ex. Amoled, then buy the Samsung Galaxy S, or SE X10... I think this phone is good and cheap. And if you want a second phone, you could buy Samsung Corby, that looks good enough and it's cheap too! :)))

This is a sexy little phone. Yes in white it does shine through alot. If theyd done it black no one would notice or spot the difference from the X10 minis.
Sell it for under 300 and it is a hit.

Go Se go!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-08-27 18:10 from FJR2 - click to readThis mobile doesn't even have the hardware to support Froyo. It's pretty amusing how companies can think they can be come a player here in the USA by doling out out-dated devices. Just because we Americans never got any decent speced handsets available through our carriers, doesn't mean we don't know any better.

As long as they using TFT in their devices it's not worth 150$+(even for secondary use).
Today it's just low end segment that still uses TFT displays.

Guys dont expect any future update for SE models, even though if they release any update it wont be for the favor of consumers. I have wasted my money on Satio, which is slow n buggy, one year has passed they have not released any bug fixes

well there's no point of having a LED flash for a night photos, an on daylight you don't need any flash! So if they can't put Xenon flash on it, it makes no point putting any flash!

this phone is to blue and way chubby!

to little to late and to expensive!

They are aiming to launch Oct, and with 2.1 as that will roll out across the Xperia range by the end of Sept. That's in the UK at least, and the X8 is an O2 exclusive at launch.

Why can't they just release it with android 2.1 or 2.2? This is ridiculous. If someone comes out with a root and a froyo rom then I might consider buying it.
