I was one of extraordinary Iphone lovers since the initial launch to Iphone 4 and also people who are very anti the same trademarked SAMSUNG mobile phone, but since seeing and really desperate to buy Galaxy S is beyond expectations all the shortcomings that used in the Iphone (other than software and games) covered with S Galaxy features include a USB drive on your PC anywhere, internet sharing, screen exceptional clarity and wide, video calls, etc. .. Now I love GREAT JOBS SAMSUNG product and to feel the flavor in your Iphone 4 IOS4 I personally prefer a 4G IPOD Touch to play games rather than buy the Iphone 4.

iPhone is good... but iPhone users, if you are truly iPhone lovers you don't have to be SGS haters. If you still can't help it, just avoid forums, sites, or news that speak of SGS. You are just killing yourselves.
And to SGS users/lovers, please don't mind these senseless people.

Dude, pls read clearly ;)

> In reply to [deleted post]Are you saying Samsung pull it self from a mere 4% in early 2000 to currently 22%,edged out all but Nokia(yet)and SonyEricsson is currently holding only and lonely 4.5% of market just because GSMArena journalese them?!
what about those analysis and testimonies all over the news?!
there is a section called news in all related mobile phone sites one by one search their news archives and see if these news are only exist in GSMArena.
every couple of years in specific industries one company will take the lead and outshine others and this time is Samsung's turn and news sources have their right to write the news the way they like(not lie or miss what ever you call just make best words to describe)and at last it's not GSMArena's or any other website fault that your preferred brand is lagging behind,it's beyond the craze to say just with fake news a company outdone them selves in terms of technology and sales, created AMOLED,LED and...
...Cheers from Germany.

There is nothing official about this update. It's a test firmware not intended for public use.

> In reply to Phone seller @ 2010-08-31 14:50 from syaE - click to readYeh its so true. I asked my friend why there wasn't that much info on the iphone on this site, compared to its popularity. Theres way more on samsung. He works in marketing and he told me that its a fact that iphone users to less research on their phones than any other user in ralation to its popularity. Then i thought about it and figured he was right. The people who rock up to my store after the iphone and adamant tht they want one dont even know what the "new" features are and when they find out they are amazed that it has of all things "a secondary camera" lol
So i guess thats why there is so much about android phones ans the galaxy, theres just more people looking. I cant wait to see how much they put up about the n8 when it comes out.
P.S Galaxy is awesome, best phone out i've seen in a while.

> In reply to JAG @ 2010-08-31 11:04 from LGqc - click to readSold and shipped is the same thing. Retailers put orders in based on sales and interests. They pay for the phones, and they dont return unsold phones, so they have indeed sold a million. How on earth do you expect them to track sales of a handset between a million different retailers. Use your head man.

> In reply to [deleted post]You might want to take note that HTC desire and other high end android phones also get alot of press. In essence GSMARENA gives praise where praise is due. Samsung Gal and wave are not just killing it in sales, but they are also winnin awards all over the place. If it was a crap phone GSM arena would say. There just isn't all that much to go against with this phone. Simply look at its user ratings to determine whether people like it or not. I work for a mobile retailer and go throuh phones like crazy, but the gal is the first one I cant pick any flaws with (except gps, but fix on way anyhow). So befor critising, look at the site as a whole. Also there tends to be a high degree of news on the phone based on the popularity of the handset itself, and interest which browsers have for it. Its one of the most viewed handsets on the site, so gsm arena has the right to appeal to those people and generate hits based on that interest. Simple business and economics.
