LG showcases Optimus 7 DLNA prowess, stays mum on specs - read the full textToday LG officially introduced their first WP7-running handset Optimus 7. You would think that, being the first company to formally introduce a WP7 handset, the Koreans will have quite a lot to say about it, but obviously this is not the case. All LG gave us was a couple of photos of the device and...

When Android came in they underestimated them thinking it wouldn't succeed. The delay for 7 would have much later if it wasn't for google stealing all profit. After realizing the obvious potential they went in full gear to design wp7. Well I think they can take their primitive designed 64k phones that's optimized for stylus use and shove it up their asses. windows mobile will have lost a big chunk of their profit and will continue to by the time phones are released and they will never gain their ranking back so long as android stays on top of things and keeps getting better. You had your chance M$. stand aside and let the android be king now..

There are nothing better than iOS and androids phone. If this phone is the first WP7 phone in the marget,it is the end of WP7.

My experience with windows 6 and the HTC touch pro was absolutely terrible. I'm a fairly tech savey person but windows 6 was an absolute horror of a system. It had a relatively modern front face, but then when you wanted to set your alarm clock it looked like the old windows 3.1, just ugly. It was also the hardest OS i have ever used (and i'm proficient with linux, apple and windows). I rememebr it took me quite a while before i could figure out how to change the damn ringtone.

Hopefully they have made some serious changes and can salvage their name. However they lost me a while ago. Not the biggest apple fan either but I'm quite fond of my galaxy s and android at themoment. however I hope the windows can learn from both in terms of ease of use.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-09-06 20:47 from 0BrE - click to read WP7 is NOT like WM6 becuse WM6 allow any company can make change in any thing Phone system like htc when the put HTC Sense .but WP7 the company can't do any thing just change on the hardware with one Condition that the phone must have 3 Button no more no less so in the end WM7 is alike iOS BUT YOU CAN PUT WM7 IN ANY Phone by any company unlike ios only work in Iphone :)

Windows Phone is a completely new integrated software with hardware buttons and has absolutely nothing to do with the Windows Mobile series. Windows Phone 7 is new and is built from the ground.

Windows Phone 7, yes thank you! LG, no thanks! I will wait for HTC to make Windows Phone 7. LG has not made a stable phone in years, no matter what OS.

Not holding my breath ! Windows has always been the least popular of all mobile software so they would have to produce something very special indeed to move out of that bottom position. However, good luck, there is always that chance!

Whats great about wp7 is that its new and manufactures will jump on it to sells units - plus they cant customize the OS as much as before but as the OS is much more advanced features from LG and others have will integrate nicely taking us to where mobile devices need to be
i hate the phrase "theirs an app for that" as Iphone OS is sh!t and the apps make up for it
