Tbh I prefer the fingerprint scanner on the back, or as Sony has done, on the side. Placing it in the Home button especially on a phablet, makes it really easy to drop the device in one-handed use imo.
Flash between two camera lenses? What for? Really funny...I think xiaomi is not going to make such a mistake....
Kunal Khullar, 12 Jul 2016A flash between two lenses sounds kinda silly, dont you think? Agreed that Xiaomi is going to ... moreAh! I never think that! If its true, "Flash Bleed" problem will come every Redmi Note 4 user!
A flash between two lenses sounds kinda silly, dont you think? Agreed that Xiaomi is going to bring dual lens cameras, but that is clearly a fingerprint scanner under the flash module.

So, everyone started to copy HTC when it first released their dual camera on HTC M8.
Huawei, now Xiaomi, probably Apple...
What's next? The copycat Samsung?
I'm in a bring of curiosity to adopt Redmi Note 3 knowing this doesn't have NFC. A bit relaxed that they'll release the 4th (soon?). Hope they'll have it as NFC became common feature (again) after fading away on last year. I do have my own strong reason for this feature.
divis200, 12 Jul 2016I hope it has at least 32GB storage and this rumour about 16GB storage isnt true. I also hope ... moreOh, come on people... 16gb is the entry model. Of course there'll be a 32gb variant as well. And maybe a 64 as well.
The dual camera thing may raise too much the Redmi line prices.
If this is below $300 and the cameras are decent, i'll consider buying it.
This is very fishy the redmi series is the budget series the mi series is the flagship so they are gona put dual camera on their budjet series ? If it maintains the amazing price i give props to xiaomi
