... and yet another 'outdated' phone sold at an 'updated' price. The On7 would have been an excellent purchase in 2014. Too bad, people still buy this crap and support their strategy.

bose, 12 Jul 2016lenovo k4 note/xiaomi note 3/huawei 5c/ and still on all these phones are much better in spec ... moreThese are for people who prefer brand value - service ability ( a dedicated Samsung service centre in there in almost all Indian mid tier cities ) - offline sales / availability ( some people still prefer a hands on feel before buying ) over value for money devices, mainly from Chinese brands.

Shame that they couldn't stick with uniform naming system which they started just this year. Like J5(2016), A5(2016), this phone should have been named On5 (2016) but no this is pro. There's nothing pro about uping the RAM by 512mb after 1 year anyway.
Overpriced and lots of variants.... last 2 weeks, atleast 10+ phones released.. Why so many variants?. How do they even manage to track all phones and release schedule etc? Interesting...
Julliard, 12 Jul 2016In less than 2 weeks Samsung amazingly able to release Galaxy On5 Pro, Galaxy On7 Pro, Galaxy ... moreYes lol. I've got the feeling that they are releasing these phones because they are sure there are people who collect samsung phones and reviewers who buy every phone and make an unboxing and review for it (like C4ETech who have already unboxed these two)
In less than 2 weeks Samsung amazingly able to release Galaxy On5 Pro, Galaxy On7 Pro, Galaxy J Max, Galaxy J1 Ace Neo, Galaxy Tab A, Galaxy J2, Samsung SM-W2016(clamshell S7), Galaxy Wide, S7 edge olympic edition, Samsung Z3, & Galaxy A9 Pro. That is 11 phone/phablet/tablet in 12 days. Everyday is a Galaxy day. Kudos for living up to your name.

stupid strategy by samsung. samsung will one day become nokia 2
So many entry Phones and no one knows the difference. Only thing you can know about Samsung is the top end (S/S Edge), high end phablet (Note) and Mid Range (A3/5/7), low end (J3/5/7) and Tablet (Tab S) + maybe mid Range Tablet (Tab A). Then there are also A series that nobody knows (A8/A9/ A9 Pro...), same with J series (J2, J1, J1 Ace...), the giant J MAX, On series, these On Pro Series, C series, E series, all these Tablets like Tab 4, Tab A, Tab E. And in the past, there existed Ace, Young, V, Edge+, grand, grand Neo, Core, Core II, core Prime, grand 2, Ace (without J), grand prime, V plis, s Duos 2...
Its price is higher then its specs as per its specs its price should be 7500. If it has s amoled display 9100 price is considered
"Pro" Samsung said. :v
Dovice, 12 Jul 2016Why no USB-C? We need budget phones to support this standard to speed adoption by accessory makers.USB type c may cost $1 more than standard micro USB, that's how cheap they are
This on series is useless and not available widely as the j series
Samsung are destroying the fabric of society by releasing so many crummy phones in quick succession
In midrange class !
For Samsung phones !!
"End is Near"
