They need to pull their fingers out and get the new Android devices out quickly before whatsapp drop the old software. Im a big BB fan but John Chen is testing even me at the moment with his sluggish attitude towards new phones.
BlackBerry and Sony are dead. Sorry but BB Priv was overpriced, next - time goes and price still dont go down. So atm in many places you can buy cheaper S6, S7, LG G4/5, HTC 10. What the hell BB ?!
Something crazy it was hard to buy it...really only some telephone company had it and only in business offer xD There wasnt any problem to buy Galaxy S 6/7, LG G5, iPhone 6s. So sorry but its hard to understand BB politics.
Blackberry need a lot of work I mean A LOT Sorry is the True
AnonD-282770, 20 Jul 2016I think they should not release flagship phones with high spec as Samsung s7 edge and then cha... morebb should focus on high midrange devices. thats where the market is. the priv is a superb device, just abit pricey. drop the price and you will sell more devices. im a bb supporter all the way.
It looks like everybody forgot about the agreement signed less than half year ago between BB and Alcatel! I guess we will see soon Idol 4 labeled BlackBerry as the picture shows!
Their full capacitive qwerty android will no doubt be great. The priv excels around the office or house when the keyboard is left out. BlackBerry qwerty shortcuts are priceless when used effectively. Don't see much point in releasing two touch screen devices, although now they've worked the way through the privs teething issues they need to showcase their improvements to android. The bugs are gone now. Google search 'BlackBerry PRIV Software - Better than Stock Android?' to see the path bb is taking towards improving android. Only early days. Keep the updates coming please BlackBerry.
I think they should not release flagship phones with high spec as Samsung s7 edge and then charge too high, instead they should focus on mid range phones or high mid range phones with reasonable price.
AnonD-368648, 20 Jul 2016PRICE PRICE PRICE. If the price isn't aggressively low, this will NOT succeed unfortunately. ... moreAgreed. More than features, normal people think for affordability point of view. And for that high price BB phones are not worth, better to go with Samsung, HTC
With the right price? Cmon BB
PRICE PRICE PRICE.
If the price isn't aggressively low, this will NOT succeed unfortunately.
Blackberry has made some great devices but they price them far too high and with no real marketing dollars to pump into new device releases, they need to price them low to get people talking since they can't afford marketing like Apple and Samsung.
Anonymous, 20 Jul 2016Why gsmarena put Alcatel Idol 4 photo there? Wait, is that Blacberry logo? Ok, I'm officially lost. One of their upcoming devices is essentially a rebranded alcatel idol 4.
It would be great to see blackberry put out something that can compete with current flagships. The priv was the right idea, but the execution left most consumers wanting.
Why gsmarena put Alcatel Idol 4 photo there? Wait, is that Blacberry logo? Ok, I'm officially lost.
Waiting for Mercury. My mother needs to finally change her Xperia pro mini. And She can't type on a touch screen. Bring it on BB asap. Cause Xperia is starting to fail
Even though I've been fooled countless times, this picture still has me excited.
I saw the speaker :inlove:
