I Have a question to other owners of this phone ,ok I have the X10i and when taking pictures I have to go into the settings and turn on photo light then go back and turn it off when i shoot the pic or you can just leave it on and it blares every time you go into the camera.Does everyone have to do this? Is there not a setting somewhere that allows the flash to work like a normal cellphone camera flash should?

Don't be so annoyed, there is a very big surpise coming from Sony Ericsson that will blow up everyone's mind, you will have no other options to select in front of Sony Ericsson upcoming product in 3 months, it comprises of 3 big surprises.

Wait for the fun and excitement, do not buy galaxy or desire or any other phone.

Trust me

"Strictly phone dependant"?

What does that mean?

This update is crucial and should be provided to every X10 user, regardless of region/model.

This nitpicking tactic is inexcusable.

Just wanna say thanks to SE as they have narrowed my phone choice between desire and galaxy s. Pity, as this is a great looking phone with nice camera.
Fools, you could have sold a million more if you had your act together.

To all Sony Ericsson employees and managment. You are a disgraceful group of people who can only manage to sell a sub-par product and somewhat refuse any customer service after the product is sold. You are a joke and I emplore everyone that yes this phone looks good, but that is about it. When I have to carry a charger in my pocket because my phone will die (without any friggen usage) after 6 hours of standby then I have made a terrible decision.

I heard that X10 hardware are capable of much more than 265k colors & Android 1.6 limited this feature , so I hope 2.1 to solve it ,so we can get 16M color on X10

Hahaha. So Gingerbread might be out (and probably running on the Nexus One) before the X10 even gets Eclair? Or they'll be a month apart? Wow.

I used to be a big SE fan. No more. Every move they make with Android makes me more and more happy that I got a Nexus One.

Looks like SE is determined to be about 6 months to a full year behind the competition. If you want an Android device, I think SE is the last place anybody should look.

Well, left for me they should even take the whole of next year for a common update, i dont care. I think announcing killer phones for this xmas will be profitable to the company or else they will loss profit this time. Mark my words!
