Using dual port microUSB/USB 128GB memory OTG is much better and convenient to transfer files, even the whole contents, from phone to phone in seconds. Wake up close minded guy! You are one in a million who refuse to accept the fact that expansion memory will become obsolete sooner. Stop living in the past.

You don't own Note 5 hence don't say anything that are not true.
You and your friend don't know where to find the location for the "nearby device" function.
Perhaps your friend bought it for displaying and bragging but he didn't convinced you.
You need to own and know the unit before you conclude!
I am using it and I know where to locate it from my premium 64GB (not 32GB) Note 5.

Anonymous, 26 Jul 2016It is still there in Note 5. Stop telling lies if you don't own the phone!I've thoroughly reviewed and tested my friends' Note.5s.
And that's not the same Nearby Devices function like in the Note 3 and 4... Note.5's and S6,S7 only caters to Bluetooth connections, not DNLA or through wifi access of files.
Not the same with Quick Connect either. I just turn it on on my hotspot, and I can browse with my TV or tablet what I need. No more relying on a wifi router.
This is the reason why don't often bother transferring new media onto the hard-disk. Can you do that? No.
So many other features now missing work the S6, Note.5 - finder hover view, infrared remote, thermometer, basic memory expansion...

Anonymous, 26 Jul 2016I'll go for the dual SIM version. Yes, everything like the S7 Edge, but with an S Pen.
Water-resistance (which you said was not important)
Bigger battery (which you said Note.5's battery can get you more than 24 hours because of the extremely light use you do)
Better camera
And wow, the microSD slot that you claim you don't need because "64GB is enough". UFS card compatible probably.
Anonymous, 26 Jul 2016LOL! Note 5 still have the Wi-Fi direct. Don't say something rubbish if you don't own the phone.Wifi Direct is how I like to transfer my media to and from my other devices at home. It exist with the Note 3.

You cannot even transfer it to other phones without switching off and opening your plastic remote control. Such inconvenience.

I own them, but I don't carry them daily. My Note remains my main source for internet. Just one device with my Bluetooth earphones that can go 10 hours of streaming audio, and 128 GB microSD. No powerpacks/no charger/no extra tablet/OTG like you.
It can go 34 hours, with more than 10 hours of SOT, consuming more than 5 GB of LTE, no worries about running out of power for the day with a 10,000mAh extended battery.
You can't say that on just one charge for your Note.5. Yeah, yeah, we know - at least you have premium glass back. Best thing ever for your "show up" device. S/
