the pricing in amazon india is sometimes a bit skewed..some sellers like cartoindia sell stuff at as high as 500% of their US dollar price...maybe amazon should look into this..atleast put in a report button
Amazon is the worst e-retailor because many of time when I book any stuff from it, the message says that SORRY, WE CAN'T DELIVER THIS PRODUCT TO YOU. This message blinks after the message THIS PRODUCT WILL DELIVER TODAY, PLEASE KEEP YOUR MONEY READY. WTF! First time I booked couple of engineering books, this message phenomenon happened first time. After that I booked stuffs from it 4 times. I got my stuff only 2 times out of 4. Latest order was my Nokia Lumia 1320 back panels. They were of worst quality. When I raised a return request, a message blinked written that the procedure on the way, but never the delivery man came. I raise my voice in Amazon customer service, they just told me that we would see the whole matter. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. The panels are still in my home but status of delivery shows that it is returned by me...By the way, I am a hardcore online buyer which buys almost all the stuffs from online sites...FLIPKART IS THE BEST IN BOTH: THE SERVICE AND THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT. EVEN SNAPDEAL AND SHOPCLUES DID VERY GOOD WITH GOOD PRODUCTS...GO TO HELL OR RETURN TO USA.
By far, Amazon is the only E-retailer in india I like the most! I've always hated Flipkart and snapdeal! They can never match and get up to the level of Amazon (in terms of Product pricing or delivery of quality Products)! You're the best Amazon!

Good luck to them. I somehow signed up for a month's trial when I bought two items. I could not undo that click, despite it being an error. The forums were full of similar complaints. I did immediately cancel the renewal. Prior to that I'd thought I was good at avoiding the double negatives of software sign-ups and trials, and I'm still not sure what it was that got me signed up!
During that month I bought 4 items, which were cheaper from other suppliers on Amazon who offered free first class post. So the one day delivery was useless. We also tried hard to find a film to watch, and failed. Total benefit for the month :what it cost (free trial).
