Tee, 29 Jul 2016Battery is a big disappointment. The Note 7 should be the top end phone of the year and 3,500 ... moreFor those bitching about battery capacity, might I remind you, Huawei has a phone called the Mate 8. It's waay sexier, sips on the it big 4000mAh battery and it's plenty fast.
Albeit whoever priced the Huawei Mate 8 was probably smoking on dry goat poop at the time. But it is definitely worth the buy.
AnonD-565966, 29 Jul 2016Is battery the only thing that matter to you guys?1? Rumors also show it will be the first ph... moreiPhone is not heavy in features. When my Note 5 was new with less stuff i could easily hit 40-50hrs, with about 5hrs of SOT.
If 3500 mAh and 4 gb and 5.7 inch true disappointed.
Should have been 4000 mAh 6 gb and ideally 6.4 inch screen
Oops, no coffee yet..The Flagship that has more software than the S7 Edge and a smaller battery ;)
A minimum of 4000mAh battery was called for this device. For me battery capacity n stamina is a HUGE selling point. I still like the Note series..I will see if it is worth giving up my Note 4 for the 7.
Pathetic, The Flagship that has more software than the S7 and a smaller battery. The second item is there is yet to be a company to produce a TGSP in the correct form factor that will allow for a protective case to fit the device and let the TGSP do its job of protecting a $949.99
"Pretty" battery hog! I would hope at least that they release a traditional flat screen version so those who really use the device can protect it!
3500 mA of battery is enough for most of the users, especially for Note 3 ... 5 owners who have 3000 mA. However, a S7 edge user (like me) will not go for a smaller battery combined with a bigger screen (even though I so much need / want something like 5.7 ... 6 inch).
Only 5 mp, what a shame
others reaching 8 and 13 mp and 4K vedio recordings
It,s 2016 Samsung and yet still 5
Poor samsung
They need the space for the stylus...
I think it's a good size for the battery.
But the design is almost identical to the S7 Edge... It's not a bad thing, but gives a weird feel...
There seems to be a front facing flash/torch?? Probably to assist the Iris Scanner at night/indoors.
The styling looks like like sony xa to me, i have had every note up to the 4 which i still have and hate. Its so unrelieable compared to previous samsungs ive had. So for my next phone it wont be this
Is battery the only thing that matter to you guys?1? Rumors also show it will be the first phone to sport Corning glass 5, it should be waterproof, have a totally redone stylus, and a edge screen tapered specifically for the Note. What if it comes with capabilty to run Samsungs new UFS cards? sign me up. if I can get thru the day with my phone, I'm cool with the battery. Maybe Android could take some pointers from Apple and build an OS that doesn't drain the battery Their batteries are significantly smaller yet I have always made it thru the day on my iphone
i ll buy it if sketchbook comes preinstalled on it or else what is the use of pen and bent touchscreen?
Taking a step back and thinking about it... thats a lot money for mobile phone even if a smartphone, isn't it? Shall be interesting to learn what the breakdown comes to.
At 850 EUR, and with the non-removable battery, no thanks.
galaxyS7, 29 Jul 2016How did you know note 5 was a failed experiment?!!. Man you must be a genius...!!!! they practically improved nothing compared to note 4. ditched sd, remo batt, with same screen, almost same camera, zero new features, increased price (bargains for note 4)
so yeah, it's hard to see why anyone would choose 4 over 5..
on the dna side note:
actually there is a slight possibility that with the ever affordable fingerscanning solutions eventually gsmarena will be checking your print to allow or not the clicking of the compare button here to check 2 phones side by side to get to the same conclusions
if such beta solution is already live tested then yes! there is to be no doubt we must have some genius people!
galaxyS7, 29 Jul 2016Yeah bro... 96 hours away..!!!! Simple math dude...!!!So what
Tee, 29 Jul 2016Battery is a big disappointment. The Note 7 should be the top end phone of the year and 3,500 ... moreThey did back in the day that they used removable batts. My Note 4 has 10000 MaH battery, I only charge it once a week!
Then Samsung had a stroke and nowadays we have to deal with tin phones, with lowly battery, no IR and subpar RAM (compared to the competition).
Congratz Samsung you turned your flagship phone into a run-of-the-mill phone...
Hows it hours away? :L
