My PC has illegal windows and no way for me to upgrade it into win10 sad.
Anonymous, 03 Aug 2016 he have to replace his harddrive with an ssd. i try win 10 on core2 duo with ssd. it is fast... moreWell obviously an SSD would be faster and more responsive than an HDD but i have just told him what i did to my 6 year old Compaq and its running lightening fast and became very very good at multitasking.
AadiRizvi, 03 Aug 2016Increase your RAM to atleast 3gigs and give your system a fresh Win10 install. he have to replace his harddrive with an ssd.
i try win 10 on core2 duo with ssd. it is faster than win 7.
Anonym, 03 Aug 2016Upgrade your Trojan now!Yup.
We can no longer turn Cortana off... :-%
I wonder what will be next? Perhaps forced backup of all our data to their cloud services?
In my opinion it's better to stay with win 7 or win 8.1, but not with win 10. I have tried them all and stayed with win 7 on laptop and 8.1 on desktop. All are legal versions with purchased dvds.
Hi-tech, 02 Aug 2016at least you got win 10! we are left with 8.1.you should have upgraded before the start of august
nothing to be happy about window 10. its a super laggy OS
updated my 8.1 slow boot up time, takes along time to initiate start
around its super slow.
after 2days of use, I had do downgrade to my official 8.1...I am really glad for that option
Still running Windows 7, only reason is the support of older games on windows 10.
Definitely, 02 Aug 2016Version 1607 windows anniversary update ceeding now, from 1511. It's big and lengthy, but no ... moreCertainly a lot of under the hood improvements even for phones. I am running the fast ring and phone is definately more reliable against what it was 3 months back. It runs well and other than some apps missing, I dont see why my 950xl cannot a be a great daily driver.
The "new" dark theme is nice for my eyes, though I had it enabled once earlier months ago. The update seems to have kept everything together, my PC still works as it did before.
When will Windows Full Desktop version be released on smartphones? Tired of Windows Mobile.
Does preventing device driver from auto update works now?
It's a shame we had to resort to 3rd party app to prevent Win10 driver auto update.
akkie.1, 02 Aug 2016Do u realize it is only for PCs not phones.Let me correct your point. As of now it is only for PC. But it will be rolling out for phone too.
Yeshhh I can't wait to try it out the new features sounds exciting, I have both Home and Pro I wonder if there'll be any noticeable differences between the two, probably not lol
