Zenfone 3 with "5.5 inch Super IPS LCD screen, 64gb onboard storage, 3gb ram" variant(With a premium desgin ofcourse from ASUS) below 16500 INR, indian people will definitely go for it neglecting other competitor phones in this price range.
no more affordable asus phone like 2-series? :/

For us old time PC geeks, it's actually a more desirable brand than Samsung, LG and Sony put together. But yes, I can see why mainstream consumers wouldn;t know that. The only complaint against its smartphones - bloatware - has now also been mostly solved with the marshmallow update that uninstalled at least 19 unnecessary apps.
Ewww but ASUS says the minimum price for Zenfone 3 its 245$ why its more price about 100$??
Anonymous, 05 Aug 2016I only wish the THB 11999 must be Rs.11999Rs 20,000 to Rs 23,000.

michaelny2001, 04 Aug 2016This is a bad deal. One plus 3 at 399 and no tax, free shipping, SD820, 6GB ram, 64Gb storage.... morespeak for yourself, no shipping ? you must be in india and have if selling offline, i can see the zenfone 3 being a better offer its sure to be more available than the oneplus 3 later on its going for 300$ dollars in the us online and the camera in my opinion is equal to or slightly better as well as equal gaming performance
I live in Thailand and I have to say that this is a bad deal and bad move for Asus.
As you all said, the Oneplus 3 is cheaper than the top model of Zenfone 3 ZE552KL and has much better CPU and 2 GB more memory. Everything else is almost the same.
Asus throw away the selling point of their brand that was built since release Zenfone.
I could only imagine how much more expensive the Ultra and Deluxe models would be. I hope the S821 variant does not cost over 10% more than the S820 version
I've been waiting with bated breath for the US release of the ZF3 Deluxe but if Asus is going to jack the prices through the roof they can go pound sand. $425 for the 5.5" ZF3? I can buy the Axon 7 or Oneplus 3 for less.

Most of my gadgets are Asus, here in Singapore, they have superb after-sales support. Even my laptop of 5 years+, Asus N43SN, they still manage to fix, clean and repair.
I do not know if it is a ripped-off for Thailand market. Simply check prices with store.asus.com/tw, you will know that Asus marketing runs against buying power there.
