Windows phone os is much more superior to android. From app optimization to ram management. Do you know why android ram management sucks even with 6GB ram, when full windows os is fine even with 2GB? It's because garbage collection from java used in android, which requires lots of ram. About performance, even lowest end devices using windows phone os can run well. Also, because most of the devices using windows mobile os were low end, microsoft started forcing developers to optimize apps and games in many ways. Do you know why this os doesn't have many apps? It's because of a late start. Many people were already using android and developing their programs on it so they got used to java, libraries and stuff like that and didn't want to change. Many people started to hate on windows phone not getting support from app developers. That's quite funny because the more hate it gets the less people will want to switch to it and the less people want to switch to it, the less support it gets from developers and the less support it gets from developers, the more hate it gets. It's like an infinite loop. What adds to this is that there is a very small percentage of devices using windows phone os and it's causing lots of issues. One more thing is that windows phone is not open source. If it was open source at the begining it could've helped to attract more developers, but if they do it now it would actually be a waste. More developers would've meant more apps and more happy users, which would lead the os to popularity. Microsoft fu*ked up with attracting developers, but that doesn't mean this os is bad.
I know that this is a half assed post to defend windows phone. In the end i contradict myself. Sorry if this post is confusing.
TL;DR: Windows phone is a great os, but microsoft fu*ked up with attracting developers, that's why it doesn't have many apps and is getting lots of hate.
Anonymous, 07 Aug 2016At this price it's a must buy. Qxdir kys Ouch :'(
That's the correct price tag. SD 212, 1 GB ram and 16GB rom with 2000mAh battery. $70 is good price tag. Although, original price tag of $199 is way too much
Might as well get rid of the stock while some people still think it is not useless.
waiting for fanboy who "wont buy it even if they were giving it away"
