I don't see why I should pay insane amouns of money for a laggy phone :S with no updates :S and other Samsung problems
Meehhh, 14 Aug 2016It's either this or the LG V20Neither for me. I hate the glass back on the newest Samsung phones, and from what we know from rumors the V20 will be G5 on steroids. Which is bad too.
I nearly grabbed an S7 Edge a couple of months back (primarily as it was a waterproof phone, and the price, at the time was exceptional; a 'one off/secondhand' opportunity).
As I considered it, I realised without the S-pen, it would have been too much of a lifestyle backwards step, for me, as a Note user. *I use the stylus*
The graphic above, showing the waterproof nature of the phone, really highlights why I have no issue now jumping onboard the new product.
Most waterproof cameras available are quite poor small sensor affairs. Some have a half decent lens on them but they are generally older units, and not available at retail anymore.
So with much enthusiasm do I look forward to getting a waterproof phone, that will always be onhand for when I 'want the shot', in any condition, paired with a relatively 'fast glass', and exceptional software.
That it has grabbed camera tech from Canon for super fast focus is just a gain, that I would not have expected, and paired up with the power of Android on a modern CPU, what I can do with the photos onboard the 'camera' before instantly sending them off is just a great lifestyle choice.
I am sure I will end up fighting with the family just to use 'my phone'!
Nice one Sammy
Would have been perfect if it had a metal back and atleast 16 mp camera.i know its not all abt megapixels but the details are not so good in s7 and s7 edge.so 16 mp is the best resolution
Before laughing at people like iphone, and now they are the same!
How you might like something a picture with weaker parameters than before and more proficiency price ?!
Before not I look at Chinese phones, but now I will be happy to wait for Samsung to put in place because apparently else will fight with them.
Like I told before... samboys are becoming appleboys... I miss the old times when we used to complain the overpriced toys from apple
This is akin to preaching to the choirs.
In real life, the Galaxy Note 7 won many thanks to its premium positioning, not its features. I have met people, some even work at Samsung, toting their Galaxy Note, and while they can spill out the features like the stylus, they rarely use them. It's simply a status symbol, just like the iPhone. The haves bought it to show their peers their economic status.
Nothing wrong with that though. Before the note 7, it was the S7 Edge. People simply buying whatever latest flagship. I mean once you are rich enough, you don't want to be showing your rich friends that you are using other than the latest flagship.
