so gamestream capable GPUs are useless, nice. As far distance as I see I only use a Qudro GC in my office xeon workstation.
I'm honestly dissapointed about this
Doesn't even read the article *cough* *cough* Nintendoe ENEX
R.I.P The best tablet on the market that's not an iPad or 600$.. I was looking forward to its sequel, guess the shield not only was my first tablet but will also be my last, sad :(

Don't be sad.
Nintendo will be producing a way better complete package out of nvidias hardware.
I'm rly excited how far Nintendos' support for peripherals like keyboard and mouse will go, and how diverse apps will be going to be.
I would like to see a complete Nintendo-OS which makes my PC for web browsing and streaming obsolete!

Nintendo knows exactly how to squeeze the hardware from a very limited console, and Android is not the best option to extract the power for a console.
Nintendo will use a proprietary OS if they want to have a good performance.
Sorry for my English :)

New shield tablet will be called NX, using tegra x2 with Pascal structure.
Wonder if this tech was incorporated into the rumoured NX tablet/console?
Anonymous, 12 Aug 2016Anyone that is really doing any serious gaming has a console or a PC. These just did not sell well.Playing games on an Nvidia powered device is a bliss, since you can stream from your computer to them. Playing Crysis 3 on a tablet for me is amazingly, amazing! With a good PAN connection, decent upload rate and low ping connection and a powerful computer, 60 fps while not taxing the gpu of the tablet/console and allowing for relaxed gameplay. Even Grid streaming was a possibility, but required quite good internet connection.
God damnit! Nvidia Tegra lineup have been the best cpu/gpu combinations, featuring the latest OpenGl versions (4.1) back in 2014 and 2015, allowing for smooth gameplay even at high resolutions. Advanced geometric processing, shaders and lighting also allowed for some games to have improved visuals over games that were in place for Snapdragon, Exynos or Mediatek cpus. A Tegra X1 with Vulkan would have 60 fps on all games for android, surely at 1080p and possibly even 90% of them at 1440p, only dipping below 60 in intense scenes :/. Rip Nvidia success nowan cared about, only a minority of the gaming population.

Many sad :(
So glad I got my Shield recently. Who knows how long the Shield 2 will still be in production?
So the dream is going to end. A tablet that is constructed well, unlike most tablets these days, is actually decent for gaming... And is the only reason to buy a high end tablet, at all, isn't getting a refresh.
The public is an ass, thinking Galaxy and Apple tablets are even worth anything these days, and are killing the competitive flow with their wallets.
All the shield tablet wasn't even sold in my country and I was Looking for it
Bad move, I was waiting for it. Maybe others too.....
