AnonD-312515, 22 Aug 2016That's great I never knocked their UI, just the way it looks and stock Android doesn't have a ... moreThat depends on your preferences. I do admit that Sony's Xperia Home doesn't look that nice (it reminds me a lot of retro times) but it is super smooth and stable as hell, like it just doesn't want to show any performance issues. Big props to them for finally making a difference between their UI on Lollipop and on Marshmallow. Icons are now looking modern and much more pleasing to look at (except the camera icon which IMO should already be replaced). Same thing cannot be said with Samsung. Give the Note 7 several more months and it will start to show its age. Xperia Z running on Marshmallow is like a beast. So as the others like the Z2 and Z3. Only thing that makes Samsung smoother nowadays is their powerful processor, but it can never change the smooth experience of a very well-optimized software. Besides, Sony's UI is actually the lightest UI on Android, even lighter than stock. And because of that, Xperia Home will run smoothly on iPhones simply because of how optimized the OS. TouchWiz will most likely lag on iPhones
Tourettes Guy, 21 Aug 2016"And you can never beat stock Android", and I'm sorry to tell you but Sony already did. Motoro... moreThat's great I never knocked their UI, just the way it looks and stock Android doesn't have a problem in that department and besides all 820 phones perform great, they're all reliable with little to no performance issues or lags, even Samsung phones are now known for their "iPhone like" experience. I'm sure Sony's UI is every bit as stable as you say it is, that's fantastic, but that still doesn't take away the fact that it's fugly - hardware and software wise - with basic specs that always end up costing an arm and a leg.
AnonD-312515, 21 Aug 2016Last I heard, a Samsung official said the Note 7 was getting Nutella within three months. Soun... moreLooking forward to that
AnonD-312515, 21 Aug 2016Yeah I heard about that, honestly none outside of the smartphone community will care. All a pe... more"And you can never beat stock Android", and I'm sorry to tell you but Sony already did. Motorola is using a stock Android yet can't beat Sony's super stable UI, almost no lag or performance issues, giving you an iPhone-like experience on an Android smartphone. I have tried a super low end Xperia smartphone but because of how light the Xperia Home, it handled even the most intensive apps easily without issues. Besides, even the X Performance is faster than the Note 7 in app opening, mainly because of its OS
Tourettes Guy, 20 Aug 2016Then tell me why is there still no news for Samsung devices receiving Android 7.0 Nougat updateLast I heard, a Samsung official said the Note 7 was getting Nutella within three months. Sounds do'able especially due to the massive attention and demand the Note 7 is getting. Some are already calling it the phone of the year and rightfully so.
Tourettes Guy, 20 Aug 2016And at least their OS is the best, and even stock Android can't compete with it. Sony's Xperia... moreYeah I heard about that, honestly none outside of the smartphone community will care. All a person want is a fast, clean and 'featury' phone. I can't speak for everyone but personally for me I find most skins to be awful, Sony's isn't spectacular and I'd even go far as to say some Chinese skins like MIUI and Flyme are better looking. And you can never beat stock, it's Google's own baby after all so it'll always look cutting edge.

xoXoXXo, 13 Aug 2016Sony trying to sell theyr promises!! X Performance is overpriced for the things they offer so ... moreI need an explanation of the Sony being able to sell 1 million Xperia X units all over the world
AnonD-312515, 14 Aug 2016An fugly UI at that. At this rate LG and Google will both have 7.0 out way before B.O.N.Y. eve... moreAnd at least their OS is the best, and even stock Android can't compete with it. Sony's Xperia Home is rated as the most stable OS ever on an Android smartphone with only 0.08% crashes, followed by Motorola with 0.09%. Samsung is not even on top 5, which basically means there's a lot of bugs and issues with their software. LG is third, but difference between LG and Sony is pretty high, I guess around 1.2%

Anonymous, 15 Aug 2016Keeps dreaming with Low grade and shame cells that Do Not last or receive updates. Hehe Tell that to all the Note 4 users still clutching to their phones for dear life lol Quit using old talking points, Samsung's flagships are well updated and supported and they last for plenty of years. You're such a shill for B.O.N.Y. lol

AnonD-161707, 14 Aug 2016Z2/Z3 also got Beta with Marshmallow. Neither Samsung, HTC or LG did the same. And with Nougat... moreExcept if you bought the Z5... you know, the last *proper* flagship.
I haven't read so many Drony comments like this before, it's like a small cult.

At this rate LG and Google will both have 7.0 out way before B.O.N.Y. even stops the beta program, even Samsung with their less than 3 month release window may beat them to the punch lol
Z2/Z3 also got Beta with Marshmallow. Neither Samsung, HTC or LG did the same. And with Nougat it's going to be the same. Two exclusive devices from Sony will get Nougat (X Performance and Z3)
Good move from Sony.
AnonD-436554, 13 Aug 2016Dear Sir
I wanted to know will Nougat come to Z5 series or it will live with Marshmellow onl... moreOf course it will. Sony can't just abandon their still flagship device(s) they've released not long ago.
We'll probably get the update next year March/April, if it goes just like Marshmallow did... :(
AnonD-436554, 13 Aug 2016Dear Sir I wanted to know will Nougat come to Z5 series or it will live with Marshmellow onl... moreZ3 had nougat update, what do you expect for z5?
Dear Sir
I wanted to know will Nougat come to Z5 series or it will live with Marshmellow only
