These tests aren't really helpful :S
They're like benchmarks
greeniii, 21 Aug 2016I have a Note 4 and trying to figure out if it's worth it to upgrade yetwell if u want a modern look yeah an upgrade can be ok coz the note 4 does look like it was made in the medieval times mate. but as for the functional side of things notes dont realy change enough to force an upgrade.
Note7 should have the best battery LIFE. It can tone down screen res to 720p and CPU performance to save juice! S7 edge can't do that. Heck not a single other phone can do that! And yes the CPU is the same as the edge, but there are many improvements and new features.

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2016better stay with note4, removable battery+battery kit is a mustIts a must for you. Howndo you know its a must for him? How do you kmownif he's even replaced his battery before? Because the majority of people with removable battery phones never utilised it.
I'm keeping my Note IV at least another year. Still does everything I need, and the Marshmallow upgrade is fantastic. Maybe I'll consider upgrading to Note 7 at the end of its lifecycle and get a better price.
Lol you're all lamenting over what practically is an unnoticeable difference in battery life. While it would have been admittedly nicer to have the note 7 break battery records, it being similar to the already efficient note 4 while having significant improvements over it is far from disappointing.
Kd10, 22 Aug 2016I think the note7 is a beautiful phone, with much to like about it.I was very disappointed that... moreNo no no no no. This story led people here, to learn about Note 7 battery life, slipped in the last chapter to tell us to buy another phone...disgracefull !
Now you, you use this story to unload your negative claptrap,....to try and convince us not to buy the phone. Now , we don't want to go down the conspiracy route, but, do the apple Pr team, not take ANY summer holidays AT ALL. Great phone tweak it, great battery life, I get more from a properly set up 6 edge plus than even I can use , and it only has a 3000 size battery, this has a bigger battery, with the same size screen go figure.I like many will simply buy the note and I don't èxpect any disapointments, and judging by the review on here, neither do gsma.

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2016It seems Samsung didn't optimize the SD820 Variant. snapdragon is better choice for me any day... moreExynos version have much more dev support than the Snapdragon models, because SD version is only available in the US while the Exynos is avaiable in the rest of the world.
I think the note7 is a beautiful phone, with much to like about it.I was very disappointed that only China was deemed worthy of the 6Gb RAM/128gb internal memory version, especially since it is based off of snapdragon, the same as the US ,and this year,Canada, for the note series.I am not impressed with a screen that scratches much more easily or battery life that is actually inferior to the S7edge,not to mention the extremely niche active variant. Also, given the slowness of carriers,I do not believe the Note7 will see android 7.0 until early 2017.If they make the top shelf 6Gb RAM/128gb storage version available as a holiday monster,I may be able to overlook these shortcomings, otherwise,I believe the prudent thing to do,is to wait for the S8edge in march. Also,I wish they would provide the obviously superior exynos chipsets for all regions.I have an S7edge and I wanted the Note7 to follow the classic pattern of being more powerful the the S series device of the same year.I do not believe that is the case any longer, they have transitioned the S series device to be the flagship and leader, and the Note series to be a complimentary follower

greeniii, 21 Aug 2016I have a Note 4 and trying to figure out if it's worth it to upgrade yetSame here. And I probably wouldn't. Seriously, other than the S Pen itself S7 Edge is basically the same phone, if not better in some regards. And Note 4 still remains the last sane phone, with most practical material Samsung has released.
I have a Note 4 and it's still a beast, Won't upgrade.

Note 4: 90h Endurance: 28:31 3G, 11:01 Web, 17:52 Video.
Note 7: 90h Endurance: 23:45 3G, 11:08 Web, 16:45 Video.
Note 7 better ram DDR4, new procesor 14nm, and 3500mAh is bad vs N4 3220mAh.
So N7 has less stamina than N4, which is disappointing when a 3500mAh battery.
So it would not have N7 90h endurance
