I have a samsung s8300v since last august. It`s now been repaired twice and replaced twice as the text messages in and sent are in enormous writing. They wont change my handset to another model as they say that this is not a known problem. There is no way in the phone to change text size. Has anyone else had this problem?

The volume on ringtone was not affected. Hope this has been helpful

Hi.To turn off the keypad tones on a d900i, go to Settings, Display settings, Dialling display, Font type and change/select it to Normal. After doing that, you can now go to Sound settings and be able to change the Keypad tones.
Hope it helps. (",)
