So, what the problem? Samsung giving out free new Spen. Problem solved. Nothing broken. Not even a design flaw. Note7 itself is not broken. If you buy a pen and it doesn't click anymore would you be so fussy to tell the whole world about that one pen you bought from a stationary store that doesn't click? Plus, Samsung gladly give you a free replacement. If this were Apple Pencil I doubt they would even replace it for you. Besides, Spen had been sold separately for replacement since Galaxy Note 1 along with its tips. Available at any Samsung store and any mobile store. Please, this article is a click bait. Instilling hates and bad names for Samsung just to get more readers.
of course the comment section will be plagued with haters and basher and ppl defending the brand (not all of them are what u call "fanboys")
regardless of the video, i wonder (just wonder) if the flaw is because of wrong manipulation (like maybe they pushed the pen extremely hard a few times so the click broke) and i also wonder the % of the ppl that can get the flaw in a normal use, now i know that someone who uses the pen several times daily will be more likely to break it even when treated carefully... but i think there can't be too many cases that's not a manipulation problem
having said that, it's good that Samsung is aware of the issue and making responsible so i appreciate that
have a nice day ^_^
Hah if i bought a Galaxy Note 7 I'll never use the S-Pen not needing it anyways *Grabs Popcorn*

You know replacement is not so easily said than done. All countries defective units have landed, everybody must decide beforehand than S pen has tobe used roughly, in out to see when it sticks. Once Sammy has forgotten quality check and rush for selling. Too bad.

mir, 31 Aug 2016People need to understand that things don't last forever. They will break. And Samsung is offe... moreThe big deal here is the fact that a $850 smartphone has a stupid design flaw. I don't know about you, but when I spent that amount of money on a phone, I would expect it to last longer than, say, 2+ years. You defending them allows them to sell sub-par products.
mir, 31 Aug 2016People need to understand that things don't last forever. They will break. And Samsung is offe... moreHaving to pay 800$+ and having this thing malfunctioning after a couple of weeks isn't a big deal for a new product to you ? I would like to see how you would react if the breaks on your new car would stop functioning after a few weeks smartass
mir, 31 Aug 2016People need to understand that things don't last forever. They will break. And Samsung is offe... moreThings last for more than a month. If they don't, they either have design flaws or is junk.
Samsung hahaha , guys remember Samsung one of biggest trash company !!!
Anonymous, 31 Aug 2016Another Scamsung failure and we keep counting Not as many Apple failures! Shall we compare?
mir, 31 Aug 2016People need to understand that things don't last forever. They will break. And Samsung is offe... moreThe big deal it this is one of the most expensive devices on the market (if not the most). Things like that shouldn't happen, especially when they had many previous generations of Note to work it out. "Things" don't last you say? True, but few months? Cmon! If the ejecting mechanism doesn't work and you can't fix it, you CHANGE it, don't leave it and hope for the best. You know what problem people have with Samsung? Since Galaxy S2 and S3 they never stepped up their game. Those are the same devices in terms of popularity and quality, but look at the price spike. Shame a lot of Samsung fans can't see that.
