bummy, 26 Oct 2010Just because 10% of the population is still stuck in the 70's, doesn't mean the 70's aint dead.well tell that to symbian's owner, nokia, they would laugh in your face, since there the biggest mobile phone company, and who are you a apple fan boy?

The quantity is nothing, there are many apps completely unworthy. Better less numbers but higher quality - graphics, functionality, completion, etc. I'm using Android phone, but apps for iOS looks much more attractive.
really good that the android market is growing rapidally.android is the way 2 go.
Sorry but i sold out and moved to Apple on Saturday. so far every app that i have downloaded works and the UI is super. i just plain got fed up of the lag the Force closing the lack of games and the crappy store and the lack of a good place to find music and check on Artist.
The frag issue did my head in (anyone still waiting for 2.2)
Yes i know there has been a big issue on open and closed but i dont care about that. i just want to listen to music and play some games where it isnt going to drain my battery and wont lag. Apple is simply just more professional
android is the way to go... i love my desire so much.its my first android phone and ill recommend you all just go for android..
nokia user moving to, 26 Oct 2010Go Android Go !!!I'm torn between flash 10.1 and huge screens on android
3D games on iphone
mate, 26 Oct 2010i run world war on the desire, no probs. the galaxy s has issues regarding lag in general, its... moreAre you saying that world war runs on your desire as fast as it runs on a iphone 3gs (not 3g). (of course have you ever played it on a 3gs first)
velu, 26 Oct 2010bada apps will never ever catch Android or Apple apps ;) they cant even come closer to symbian Nah, look at those pretty looking apps like need for speed shift, apshalt 5 and other cool ones. Its just bada is very young, but i do think that one day it will catch android (if not catch then get closer to it) Because the potencial of bada is very good (in my opinion) :)
wave user, 26 Oct 2010And Bada has 2558 apps (10.10.26) :D
For Samsung wave GT 8500 is only 1341 apps (same date)... morebada apps will never ever catch Android or Apple apps ;)

Anonymous, 26 Oct 2010And symbian has...... Nobody knows. Because apps are spread out over the web, most don't work... moreThere are a few powerful Symbian phones as well, Vivaz and Omnia HD are examples.
Apple's App store has a free ad supported version of Angry Birds, personally I'd rather pay 99c for no ads.
And symbian has...... Nobody knows.
Because apps are spread out over the web, most don't work because they are made for a different version of symbian, and Ovi store sucks balls. Oh and symbian phones don't have the power to run complex apps.
The fact that android has 100k and iPhone has 300k apps pretty much underlines the fact that symbian is dead. Who wants to develop apps for a dead platform?
