To turn off the keypad tones just push the volume button on the left side while out the menue down, it will decrease the volume then turn it off!!!!!!

I also got the D900 and Oh My God the keypad tones are soooo annoying! Please could someone let me know hot to get rid of it and how to change it to different tones?

Hello. I have just bought the D900 and i love it!! Although i am hating the fact that the screen display is tiny when you have your own photos as display :0( Does anyone know if there's a resolution to this please?? Thanks x

I just got my d900 except it is annoying me already.
Does anybody know how to change the keypad tones when texting.
I tried changing the keypad tones, which is fine for dialling, except when im texting i still get the annoying DTMF beep!
Please help me!

i-m not able to change kepad tones for my samsung SGH X 820. i want to know if si a general problems or if exist a triky way for make this thing work.....

I am unable to change Keypad tone setting of my SGH X820 phone. I can switch it off from the menu but selecting other options e.g. Xylophone, DTMF, Simple does not have any effect on keypad tone sound. Can someone help me please.

As we all know most of the motorola phones especially the high end phones have the capabilities to lock almost everysingle folder within the phone. i am curious as to if you can dot he same thing on the samsund D900? is it possible and if so to what extent? does it work on every folder?

Here is how to get rid of those keytones.............
You can access the keypad tone volumes by doing the following:
Open the settings menu
Go to the display settings (no. 3) , and click on no. 6 "dialling display".
In Font Type (no. 1), choose ''normal'' & save.
Go to sound settings (no. 4), and the keypad tone selections (no. 2) are now accessible.
You can turn off the keypad permanently here.(yippee!) A shame the same can''t be said for those annoying incoming messages tones - truly awful.
A warning though - if you go back and choose ''theme'' again in the Font Type, all those annoying keypad tones come back & you have to go back & change the lot again! I can live without the little pen scribing the phone number.

Does anyone knows where to get free themes for Samsung D900?
Is there any ways to use my own message tones instand of using the default tones in the phone?
If all this can be done, this phone will be made perfect to me!
