Today Samsung announced a new model series - the so called Ultra, which includes the bar phone Samsung X820, the slider phone Samsung D900, and the new clamshell Samsung D830...

all you samsung phones is starting to look the same for example the e370looks exacley the same as the d600 it is just small.why cant you come out with something diffrent for ones.something no one can say looks the same???

This is the coolest pnone ever! Totally gonna switch my Nokia N90 when this phone comes out. Only have one question, is this the same as the D870? well both are definately the best sliders! Also please E-Mail me when this phone is available and where. Thanks a lot!!! I don't know if this opinion will be saved because I'm doing this on my Nokia N90!

Samsung seems to have shown these sexy fones to whet our appetites
i will only believe when they r able to put them in market ( perhaps end of 2006 only, knowing how mobile manufacturers show a Mirage to us & delay actual product for months altogether.)

Could you let me know when and where we can buy these 3 mobile phones.I see 3 type mobile phone in Singapore show. It is really good. Candy bar X820 looks like ALLPLE-NANO.

They are never going to beat the RAZR in the market unless they go QUAD BAND! I hope the people at samsung read this. I would strongly consider buying one if you would go QUAD.

D900, no auto focus. 3Mpix without autofocus? You will have completely blur picture if you take closer subject such as document. Useless camera

Hey dudets.... which phone is everyone most interested in here out of the three? I personally think the slider and folder phone is really really sweet. The slider looks so slim unlike the sliders we have in the shops at the moment. Between the two, I like the folder (clamshell) one. Nothing quite like a really slim folder phone. Thank God Samsung is comming out with these phones, cause i think a lot of ppl are getting sick of the motorola ones.... agree??

Come on...D900 IS D870 and D870 IS D900. You cant always trust GSMArena's database cant ya...

There are some reports that Samsung officially changed the name D870 to D900.
The differece is D900 is quadband but it has 3 mp cam not 3.2 mp cam like d870. Both has same design.
However, looking at the pictures of D900, I have noticed that the one where the slide is closed has smaller display than the one which has slides open.....
Does anyone know whats the deal??
