xxt, 07 Sep 20163 months and he got display burn-in? Well, he should've used the warranty, don't you think? The phone was not under warranty as it was imported from US and Samsung Pakistan does not entertain warranties on imported phones and considers them unofficial. Well he is using with the spot now, plans to get it replaced locally.

xxt, 07 Sep 2016Saying that AMOLED is the worst display tech is pure bs, that's for sure.Who said worst? I just said its not everyone's cup of tea so avoid imposing your opinion on everyone!
Sounds like a nice phone! If the price isn't insane it might be might next phone

My 808, Galaxy S4, Note 3, all amoled do not show any burn despite being used everyday by my brothers and sisters.. Don't troll about amoled being burned because it will make you look stupid
why there is no stereo front speakers in this phone,is it too hard for the korean manufacturer,s (lg-samsung) to put stereo speakers to there phones.especialy with all the advanced sound capabiliteis of these devices.
Anonymous, 07 Sep 2016And that camera is still the best among phones. It beats even the Galaxy S7 camera. It beats shit. G5 was innovative about the wide angle camera but its quality , especially video can not compare to s7 or htc10. Op3 is a better buy than g5. But anyways thank God they gave up on modularity on the v20. Looks a more mature phone.
xxt, 07 Sep 2016That's why you can tune the colors of the display to your liking, Samsung high-end AMOLEDs can... moreAmoled has better contrast, I give you that. But LCD is way sharper than Pentile Matrix pixel distribution found in Samsung flaships like the Note 7, it's ridiculous, I tell you. For instance, the HTC One M7 with 1080p screen and 469 pixels per inch (more important than resolution) looks much sharper than the Samsung Galaxy S6 with QHD screen and with more pixels per inch. So where lays the difference? What is the deciding factor for sharper screen in real life? The Pixel Matrix distribution. Believe me, I compared the two phones in real life, if you don't believe me do the comparison yourself.

it'll be the perfect replacement of my sam note 6, thank GODS I hadn't bought the note 7.
mattnin, 07 Sep 2016Totally love the v20! I'm saving money and getting one! V20 > Samsung or AppleV20 > Samsung + Apple combined
NINJA1, 07 Sep 2016LCD screen, single sim, 3200mah battery, usb type c 1.0!!! this is definitely not a phone for indiaOH shut it. NOT all phone users are from India! I'm from the Philippines and I prefer seeing more variety like this than seeing more useless Cherry Mobile Phones. BAH
Love the customization, if I want a bigger battery, just wait for 3rd party battery supplier probably ZeroLemon to give us a 8000mAh battery w/ modified cover.

But in terms of practicality, no. It burns in. I had a Nokia C7 and a Galaxy S4. One month was enough to get burn in. Go to a store and check out demo units. They're all burned in (unless they're new). If you intend to change phones every year, AMOLED screened ones are fine.
Once again I wait for LG to release the (near)perfect phone and they fail miserably. V10 was almost there, only the battery lagged behind so I had to skip it... Rumors were that V20 codes with the same rugged design (I liked the back of V10) and 4000 mAh battery. And they release G5 and...This.
Bought S7 edge mainly for its battery.

So lg is not really an option too. Oh wait, they came up with one...except it has a non-removable battery (And shitty display and some other problems. Check out the other "arena"'s review). Thanks, but no thanks.
