How is this better than Moto E2 apart from the display?
SSG, 04 Sep 2016@username8: How can 6K INR and 8K INR be both equal to $90? That was a mistake, was unable to edit afterwards. I meant G4 Play at or below 8K INR ($120) will be a decent price considering Moto prices nowadays.

Still happy with Moto g 1st gen. No need of Moto E3
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2016Mediatek with 1GB ram. No thanks Lenovo. I am still happy with my Moto E 2nd gen. There's G4 play (SD410+2GB RAM+16GB) to replace your E2 or E3 power (2GB RAM+16GB) if it launches in India
Mediatek with 1GB ram. No thanks Lenovo. I am still happy with my Moto E 2nd gen.
Anonymous, 03 Sep 2016There is a real scarcity of good new phones between 16-20k segment! lol.....

Lenovo has ruined moto. Mediatek chipset in place of Qualcomm , no curved back , moto dimple done away with too.
Focusing more on style than functionality.
2800mah battery is a welcome addition.
Those are really depressing configuration. Redmi 2 prime is sill way better than this and I bet moto E3 will be costlier than redmi 2 prime. Moto E series has lost its appeal. 16gb model, 2 GB RAM with decent processor would have been something to look for.
AnonD-68356, 03 Sep 2016hey, do you have any idea about launching date of z play in india? and at what price? 420-30$?... moreNo I dont know. Even the Z and Z Force have'nt been launched in India yet, maybe they will launch all 3 at once.

Going by the specs it should be priced below 6K INR (90$). And Moto G4 Play also launching on 6th Sep (https://twitter.com/Moto_IND/status/772041628676521984) in India that should be priced below 8K INR (90$) for the 16GB/2GB RAM version. Hope they do not overprice it. I think G4 play will have NFC too while there will be OTG on both
