JMTM, 07 Sep 2016This really sucks for Samsung... man they are really getting a hit hard from the mistake I be... moreI agree. Some how I think there are more than 48 out of those 2 million units that were dispersed that could have bad batteries. Give it some time...
Knowing these American TSA, they will mistaken Galaxy 7s for being Note 7. Especially with a phone case on, it'll be a hassle to distinguish between them. Samsung's nightmare is just getting worse by the day.
Perfect decision. Those units are like a ticking time bomb. It may destroy the whole plane.
wow, when it rains it pours for samsung. especially the iphone 7 is just hours away from release
xxt, 07 Sep 2016Sh*t happens, even luxury car manufacturers like Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz do recalls! The recall is a very good move. I mean not every company ($1B loss) can do that, just like apple that always blame the consumers for using their phones the wrong way.
I plan to buy a new Note 7, but so many issue right now, especially the explodes while charging I'm change my mind. Maybe, my next phone is S7 edge or waiting S8 next year is my option

So one has to proove that it's safe version of Note 7. Better Samsung do not launched the repaired devices with new battery, they should dump all the recalled craps instead. New beginning with next series number. Should forget profit for while and concentrate on its market reputation for now.
Anonymous, 07 Sep 2016All of these will be easily fixed if the battery is user removable.. Samsung will just have to... moreThis argument is stale already. How many flagships these days have removable batteries? Smh
8knots, 07 Sep 2016Yes yes, we all heard this a lot.... (probably too many times in many different articles)And that's fine. We should spread the truth.
I bet Samsung wishes they had named this one Note 6. The replacements they now have to send could have been the Note 7 :)
Samsung you can get back your reputation with sell note 7 in low price
xxt, 07 Sep 2016Sh*t happens, even luxury car manufacturers like Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz do recalls!Agreed but this one is the biggest recall of a smartphone ever and the biggest loss because of it to a manufacturer though it is nothing in front of Samsung (more or less 5% of total net income this financial year).
Siddharth09, 07 Sep 2016Right time for Nokia to make a comeback as sammy reputation has taken some beating.Keep dreaming dead can come back only as Zombie hope you get it.

techperson211, 07 Sep 2016Never experienced it using other OEM. It's a matter of quality over quantity.Agree. Quantity
yea yea..all this coming from people thinking of comparing a note 2 to an iphone 6s
Samsung just didn't blew the competition away. Samsung might just blow the aviation industry too.
