Anonymous, 14 Sep 2016Remember redmi note 2? Its skipping for indiabut we get redmi note 4g and redmi note prime instead
AnonD-52622, 14 Sep 2016But you think it would be SD652/650 again? The next 600 series snapdragon.

I think redmi note 4 SD version never release, because antutu score of helio X20 80k~95k , and if xiaomi want SD go for note 4, close performance is SD 820, and it not cheap and will broke Mi series
Because there is no Snapdragon variant that can go against the Helio X20 in the same price range. Hopefully Qualcomm announces a new midrange chip with 14nm architecture.
May be release later.and I am saving my money for SD variant.
Saving money for redmi note 5

Well 650 and 652 are pretty much the same processor, so I also think they will not launch Redmi Note 4 with snapdragon anytime soon. Maybe when the successor of 652 is announced, they may decide to bring out SD version or they'll skip it altogether in favor of Redmi Note 5.
in india they cant sell it with mtk so if its coming to india it will b sd652 or some newer chip,nd i dnt think there is any chance for skipping redmi note 4 in india it could take upto end of this year but it will b there,or may b they launch redmi pro with name of redmi note 4...
Anonymous, 14 Sep 2016I think they will release it but later. But you think it would be SD652/650 again?
It's a no brainer if it's true, the Snapdragon variant outsold the MTK variant 2 to 3 times.
Xiaomi should put a distinctive trait on their product lines and call it a day. Redmi (and Redmi Note) use MTK, Mi (and Mi Note) use Snapdragon. At least, it's easier for customer this way.
why don't they just call note 7 so it will be exactly copy of samsung

Even if it turns out to be true.... I don't see what the big deal is... Apart from a 64GB storage option, there aren't any significant improvements (and in fact there are some negatives) compared to Redmi Note 3. Note 3 continues to be a good handset and should sell well into 2017.
What I would want to see though is a Snapdragon version of Redmi Pro (with SD820). Xiaomi doesn't have any handset option in 15-20k (unless you want a really really big phone).
AnonD-546038, 14 Sep 2016No snappydragon = no buy! MTK is c*rap, consumes to much, gpu is bad, no roms to play with. Next!then wait on Mi note 2 or Mi5s ,or just buy classic Mi5 64gb
Then there's absolutely no reason to prefer this over Redmi Note 3 Pro.
