They aren't doing anything different from what Samsung has already said. Stop being so blind and biased.

It amazes me that in the majority of cases the comments have no relation whatsoever to the topic on hand.
There are posting rules regarding no foul language, politeness and COMMON SENSE.
However I think the common sense filter/moderation is either not working or turned off because there is STUPIDITY in abundance in these comments.

To my knowledge the phones don't spontaneously combust (catch fire on its own). This occurs DURING charging in SOME units (not all).
Yet the uneducated/immature/illiterate (take your pick which category you fall into) will spout this and that and call it this and that.
So the stance the MTA is taking is extreme

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2016Funny that NYC MTA really believe itself is a safe and reliable transportation, they have more... moreThe trains are fine, it's some of the stations I'd be worried about. Different topic...
Still, the MTA carries around 1.7 billion people annually, close to 5 million daily commuters. That's nothing short of impressive, so don't mock them for doing their job.
AnonD-506570, 15 Sep 2016Why don't the US government make official and request all Note 7 banned from the country Because they know that Samsung is remediating the situation, so they can't ban a device that is being remediated. But in the meantime and until that is complete, transport authorities, etc. need to take precautions until Samsung gives the green light that all handsets have been replaced or remotely disabled.
Not that hard to figure out, is it?
Old and stinky trains huh? Maybe you shouldn't comment on things your clearly know nothing about!

Listen ignorant: there is not other OEM's phone on the market that can replace Note series. And Note7 is the best Note so far.
