For ppl who think ppl in asia or africa can't afford better phones, go open ur effing eyes and mind, do some research before saying something so disrespectful, do u really think cities in asia or Africa developed in the late 1990's or the 21st century is not better than western cities developed in the 60's or 70's

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-11-05 10:23 from uCHM - click to readFalse (or lie). Nokia 5800 sales: approx 5 mio based on independent market analysts though Nokia announced 13 millions (in early 2010). This shows how pathetic they are.
Iphone 3G and 3Gs (end 2009): 33.5 millions. (Gartner)
Get you numbers right before posting any crap.

Yes, the investors are losing faith... which is why the share price has climbed steadily from it's low at the end of June by over 30%.

You trolls really do enjoy making yourselves look silly, don't you?

M into stock market,if the share prices of a co. R constantly falling it indicates that the investors are loosing interest in that brand and are recirculating there money to other companies.stock market does indicate the health of a company.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-11-05 10:17 from uCHM - click to readMy previous observation was made on MRT from airport to City Hall station few years ago, where about 80% of the people used the almighty brand's phones.

My friend "lives" in the city right now and work there, and he told me there are more iphones than those from almighty brand right now. I'll talk to him this weekend and give you the details where he made the observation.

Then again if iphone isn't the "popular" phone among Singaporeans, why the national airline uses iphone during the safety video presentation? Why the seats on A380 would have iphone compatible features where iphone can work as the remote? Why not N900 or any other Symbian phone?

seeing a lot of anti nokia post here really make me smile. It really meant how good the new symbian were, and all those iphone-android lover afraid to admit it, anddon't want their platform to die just because nokia have the best platform.

Congratulation nokia.

Why limit your income to 1 platform?? Symbian3 is untap market, and smart developer know that they need to enter the market now before it's crowded.

Especially, because nokia sold more smatphone than iphone+android combined.
