You know , Big Brother Channel, Automobile is also 19th century technology.
Ditch it, add 4 wheels to iPhone and use for traveling.
But , No, wheel is also old technology...
No matter how much we rant or try to use logic here, Apple's sales will NOT plummet.
So why waste words? Not like Tim Cook's gonna care about what non-apple users have to say about this cause pretty much all rich Apple users will switch to iPhone 7 anyways. This just ignites Apple's publicity. Nothing more.
Removing something doesn't mean it's already worse, but doing it at the time when it hasn't been improved yet just makes no sense at all. At least Apple could've worked harder on improving the audio quality with wireless headsets before releasing the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. I really liked going wireless, as wires do sometimes bother me, but I won't swap it for worse quality. Wireless may be the future, but if it wasn't proven to be better than the technology we have today, there's no reason for going to future too early. We are simply getting better and better everyday, but Apple went quickly to something that is supposed to be improved first day by day, that's why the idea failed miserably. Anyway, it's Apple, and at the end of the day, people are still going to buy it because it has Apple logo on it. It's good to see some great improvements with display, camera, battery life, audio, and performance, but no one is ever going to pay an extra $400 just for a $50 better quality. If only the OnePlus 3 is as popular as Samsung or Apple, it would've sell like hotcakes to many people, and Samsung & Apple would be in a big trouble with business
I think wireless is the way forward. Its time to be innovative and try new things. AS the article said we have been using analog audio jacks since the 19th century. Why not try something new.
Zenodroid, 18 Sep 2016i dont have or need any icrap. but with my sgs7 i use the jbl e50bt. great sound, lots of hour... moreDon't agree at all. Very uncomfortable and sound extremely bad. I can't recommend those headphones at all.
i think going by the polls that apple have shot themselves in the foot with this caper
i dont have or need any icrap. but with my sgs7 i use the jbl e50bt. great sound, lots of hours stamina and actually a bit sound proof from the outer world. mic could have been better, but its still worth the money.
Adapters are annoying. If I had to buy it I would just use the included! And wireless headphones usually have delays. Maybe not everyone would notice but I'm really sensitive. It's even worse on YouTube
i need something cleared...
intel suggested removal of the 3.5mm jack to the usb type c, and this was to give data directly to the speakers or headphones that will process this data on the spot, something like the current hdmi cable...so if apple is using an adapter to use for our regular headphones, is there a driver there that is facilitating this? and that is not taking up space?? and can you daisy chain lighnting cables like usb type c?? thnks in advance
and for people looking for nice headphones on bt, may i suggest Sony MDR-AS600BT/ philips taptser
Hearable/wireless headphone distributors and manufacturers need to get their products out in the indirect channel fast before the holiday season.
Someone Else, 18 Sep 2016If I ever own an iPhone 7, I'm surely gonna use the bundled lightning earpod. Though, the soun... moreI beg to differ, my friend.
i would use the bundled earpods. however I feel useless when adapting to some sound system that still using traditional jack aux output without bluetooth. nobody would carry the adapter all the time. lol. but I really salute apple for doing that. the iPhone7 might not sell that many and I wouldn't buy something that is a minority, not until majority are using wireless.
koss plug. Would be wireless variant like this, I would take it then.
