Nexus 6 had a 6 inch display , nexus 6p is 5.... morePeople bash Samsung all the time for having too many models, now you want Google to follow in their footsteps? And all the popular manufacturers won't touch 6" anymore other than maybe Hooway or some other Chinese companies, and maybe some Windows 10 phones as well.
lalu ram, 18 Sep 2016i went to be iphone brilient and camera and clam down. What did you just say.

Even since the Nexus One, the Nexus lineup has been equal to the Android flagships of the time. Have you ever owned one? I have owned Nexus 1, GNex, N4 and N5. They are all pretty much flagship material. Heck, the Nexus 4 is one of the sexiest Android phone in the sea of cheap Samsung crap when it was released.
Starting with Nexus 6, Google basically wants some more Margin. Enter Huawei, making a poor build quality of Nexus 6P (using internal tiny plastic connectors that can easily break) and charging a premium. At least there's still LG. The 6P was poor that Google decided to go back to HTC for the Pixel.
Obviously fake cases. Notice the clear case that's laid flat.. Finger print reader hole isn't in the middle.
nobody needs a 7" screen, unless you have shitty eyes, in that case buy glasses, or a tablet, but a 7" phone is just dumb

With nexus 6 Google tried to break that image but failed. With 6p nexus became first of its kind fully consumer's phone now with premium compact device and phablet device it's a great news people won't have to settle for a compromise for top of the line pure Google experience.
K9luvr, 18 Sep 2016That was the first thing I noticed. No band 17 for ATT. Major mistake on Google's part.
Whi... moreThere is no mistake, what used to be band 17 can now be accessed through band 12 on AT&T using MBFI. So phones only need to support band 12 to access AT&T 700 MHz LTE. Samsung did the same in their latest phones as well.
EDIT: Ok, someone already responded to that.
PLAYER SLAYER, 18 Sep 2016These better come cheap, I couldn't fathom paying more than $500 for athe bigger 'Pixel' phone... moreNope. Google is done giving out cheap phones (unless you are in the US, and sign up for projectFi). That's why the name change to Pixel. People equate Nexus to affordable due to the precedence that Google did. But Pixel started as a Chrombook that cost more than a thousand dollar. So the Pixel brand has a premium precedence. Thus the name change. In short, Google also want some profits (probably under pressure from the OEMs as well).
May Everything Be Added.. Sans a Physical Button except for Power. One Button Smart Phone "Next us" Nexus..
Anonymous, 18 Sep 2016The smaller is 5" and it's reasonable to use with one handFor average (169 cm) person 130-134 mm tall device is maximum to use one hand. With device above 130 cm it's impossible to reach top left corner with back/menu button and impossible to use bottom buttons because most device weight is outside of hand making it very easy to drop.

The iPhone has poor ~65.6% screen-to-body ratio. Even the LG P880 from 2012 has a better value (~67.5%) and there are phones up to ~78.5% (Sharp Aquos Crystal). Therefore I'm sure, that Pixel will have better stb ratio than any iPhone.
These better come cheap, I couldn't fathom paying more than $500 for athe bigger 'Pixel' phone with that design and name. C'mon, Google, Nexus was just starting to make impressions for average consumers, and now the ugly name?

These Pixels don't have the biggest bezels out there. Stop overreacting. The iPhone has a button which means the space is being used for something and it helps to give maximum screen space.
The 6P has stereo speakers too.... So what do the new Pixel phones have? Nothing.
