It can't play 1080p high profile files but 1080p recording is nice. Tegra 2 is also fastest in 3D. 27 FPS in Neocore.
>a dual-core Cortex A9 CPU of yet unknown frequency (but A9 maxes out at 1GHz) and NVIDIA Tegra 2
The Tegra 2 IS a Dual Core Cortex A9 CPU, with a nice GPU attached.
I very much doubt this has 2 CPUS.
I wonder what they got in mind to power such a phone. Will be interesting to see.

I think you are just an Android troll defending Android and will attack anyone who dares insult your overhyoed OS. Just because someone actually has the nerve tosay Android is getting rather stale in it's hardware/software with nothing new or fresh in the tech or look department doesn't mean that Nokia sucks. Android don't even make thier own hardware FFS, look at Nokia, the manufacturer of the decade which gave a lot more that Android can only dream of and is bigger than Iphone/Android and Windows Phone combined. I've seen f all innovation from Android, it's open source, so f'ing what? It looks ugly as f'k .All this Americanised trash that is spewing out from IOS/WP7 and Android should stay on your shores and stop poisoning the the rest of the world. Little wonder why America is the most hated country in the world because of such sheer arrogance, even if you're not American you're a royal pain in the ass and you sound like one too.
Marketing Gimik of LG! This is to shadow the epic fail they did on their 1day/1hr sale…They just want to news blackout the epic fail they did…That event shows how disorganize, unprepared, and unreliable LG is. They make thousand people wait in line for 3hrs and announce only a few handful will get the 50% discount…Even a toddler would know if the ball fits the hoop…They said they didn’t know the final estimate of the number of people that can fit in the 1hr sales during the 3hrs…They are either stupid or liar…LG Will Go Down…

As an avid Nokia fan for many years I have seen the depreciation of their company first hand and although on paper like many Nokia's the N8 seems like a strong alternative. However their renowned for buggy software, ugly phones and unreliable with terrible customer care.
What this phone offers is one of the best smartphone OS's (iOS and Android being the winners) and is potentially the first phone to offer dual core processing, which if Android is capable of taking advantage of, is hugely powerful and exciting.
I agree it's design is bland, but it isn't announce and it's one of the first of it's breed so think of the innovations in the industry, rather than this phone (If it's a cortex then all the manufacturers will have their hands on this).
you're kidding me right? LOOK at the SIZE of that thing. it completely defetes the purpose of a handheld device.. you need 2 fvcking hands to hold that thing. wtf? you need barbaric hands to hold it...
In a sea of Androids sporting almost the same features, there is nothing about this brand, the handset, and its offering itself that makes it compelling for users.
First off is the design: it's tired and boring and doesn't look or feel distinctive when compared to other popular droids such as HTC Desire HD and Samsung Galaxy S, which are already clones in the first place (HD lifted from HD2, Galaxy S design heavily borrowed from 3GS).
If you don't mind the OS, the Nokia N8 suddenly becomes a better alternative with a durable, attractive design, and very capable multimedia spec list.
LG's R&D and PR team must really work hard to push its phone from anonymity.
Even for a cellular phone afficionado like me who changes cellular phone every year, I have become mature enough not to crave and only get the device that I truly need.
This will be another niche device loved by some, unknown to most.
Other company's have just single, please watch proof!

It's what the new market demands and surely the manufacturers want to please their customers. It's not that higher specs are mutually exclusive of the features, since a more powerful CPU/GPU would mean more demanding applications could be ported to the mobile environment.
Instead of improving in features, all phones are doing is improving in screen size and cpu speed... I'm not liking where the phone industry is going. It's like laptops. Same thing except one is faster than the other...
What nice specs!! What an ugly phone!lol
Some LG phones are great eg. Optimus one and Optimus chic which b0th have 512mb ram and runs froyo at a very affordable price.. But.. Very very poor designs and materials used are so uhmm.. never mind.. I think you get my point already.. LG should fire their designers right now.. They shud hire the ones from HTC and Motorola.. And come up with a design mixed of those two..
LG designs are getting uglier by the day.. And to think that this is a flagship phone? Nah.. U can do better than that!
But specs-wise, i think im gonna give you a two thumbs up! LG good job youre getting there!
Planning to buy Optimus One, i love its specs.. Because id rather choose specs over performance.. Il just gonna buy a silicon case for it, hehe.
which month come this phone i cant wait thats osom phone all phone dad this phone i wana buy this phone
