Still the best looking, operating and unique phone on the planet. No one will have a phone like the Note series of Samsung. Deal with it. And no matter what will happen with the phone, Samsung still will get things done well and all be fine. Also they doing the best only for the Note series if you didn't know that until now. The S series is a Flagship yes but definitely behind the Note series. Because the Note is the high end Samsung's only and unique Flagship phone.
Any idea on the relaunch/sale of safe Note 7 units in India?

[deleted post]well u dont say. Either Xiaomi/One+ dont have their own R&D. For example, Xiaomi always do plagiarism to Apple design, and recently to Samsul too using double edge screen on the new Mi Note 2. That way they cut cost so much. They just focus on buying hardware and assemble it. U call that good? They just faker, plagiarism everywhere. If Samsul or Apple patent their own design, im sure Xiaomi will hit a lot of patent and resign from any market in the world.
In my country Indonesia, they dont even deserve to be in market. Oneplus resign from market and leave for good because they dont want to accept the regulation. Even Xiaomi dont have effort to bring more device and stick with old redmi because of the regulation too. That means, they dont have any effort to penetrate the market with their own power because until now they always live based on plagiarism.
I'm not samsul or apple fanboy. But i dont hate any brand even Xiaomi or One+.They have their own reason. If u just hater dont bother other brand.

I merely creating an 'if' situation and other possibilities of it. I use Samsung but I dont support this Note7 either but I try to think of every situation and scenario to understand this whole thing better instead of panicking and overeacting and bashing them and questioning or judging them like you do. At least I dont judge Samsung.

Samsung also pays medias heavily to keep silent, their marketing expense is many times more the original cost production of their device.

In the case it havent explode, Note7 that not yet exploded could manually replace their battery by buying the so-called 'safe' battery but, how many do you think would want to do that? Even the global recall only received 50% returns. I doubt more than 60% of them are gonna buy a new battery if the battery was replaceable. Btw, how would you know the new battery is an original safe battery made by Samsung and not some fake made in china batteries just to take advantage of ghe whole situation. So, sealed or replaceable, the situation will be pretty much quite the same.
Skib666, 01 Oct 2016I'm pretty sure they won't explode in Korea, they care about the home country. Reports are probably dampened in Korea. Samsung is pretty much a mafia there, having close relationship with the government.

Imagine the logistics of trying to work out faulty ones from good ones if users could move them between phones at will. Samsung could replace a damaged phone only for the new one to end up with another faulty battery in it and get a second phone back. At lest now the problem is confined to the one phone only. If people prefer replaceable batteries fair enough but Samsung would still have had a major problem on their hands either way.
Skib666, 01 Oct 2016I'm pretty sure they won't explode in Korea, they care about the home country. If the report is accurate, the first post-exchange (unit with "safe" designation) Note 7 combustion has just happened in Korea:

mir, 01 Oct 2016Time to replace the Note line with a better one. There's nothing wrong with the Note series, they should had kept the replaceable battery instead if rushing on a sealed unit. Big mistake.
