They wanted to rush Note 7 to the shelves before iphone and it's obvious that thorough testing went to the garbage bin. They deserve what they are getting. I hope they don't rush s8 too
Nishru, 10 Oct 2016I haven't heard anything from EU either, which brings up another thing...European Samsung phon... moreNice theory. SD 820 always overheating, but I doubt it can cause a phone to catch on fire because there are a lot of phone that uses SD 820 without issue. But than again, many, if not all of the reported safe Note 7 that catches on fire are in the US which uses SD 820. Basically, we won't know for sure until Samsung gave an official statement.
It is really bad for samsung.Buying the Note 7 now is a bad idea.Even if it is safe,it already got the bad rep.The resale value will be really low.And for years,Samsung has used the Good name created by its Flagship S and Note series to sell their crappy budget and lower midrange offerings.Everything it sells is a Galaxy BTW.Hope it wont affect the sale of upcoming galaxies.Samsung tried to regain its brand name by recalls. But even if one of the recalled galaxies exploded, they were going to be in trouble. There are even iphones catching fire. But now the Note 7 will be "one that caught fire" because they were the first one to catch fire and everyone made it a big news and samsung cant hit back because it have a Explosive phone in their hand.
i think apple is sabotaging note7 devices, the shady company they are this would not be beyond them, until samsung doesn't recognize the fault in the safe devices, i don't believe anything, in my opinion it's apple's doing, they are benefiting from this, it is hard to believe that even when samsung invested tons of money into the recall and fixing the problem, there is still a problem with the batteries, but of course you I can not prove anything, its just my opinion.
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2016I thought Note7 never launch in Europe. Or was it UK? Thats why not much news about Note7 from... moreIt's available in UK but Exynos versions. I think Snapdragon may be partially in blame for those. Top SoC's from last 2 years have heat management issues. Makes me suspect it may be one of the reasons.
Someone Else, 10 Oct 2016I thought Europe doesn't even have a problem with their Note 7. Last I check, not one of the r... moreI haven't heard anything from EU either, which brings up another thing...European Samsung phones usually run on Exynos (at least the top models). Sooo perhaps it's the Snapdragon fault for having very bad heat management.
At this point Samsung should issue refunds to EVERYONE and be done with it. Note 7 is a bust, get rid of it from the market and move on.
Stefy , 10 Oct 2016To much bad useless publicy is going on around this device..
Don't like Samsung, ok go and bu... moreSorry to disappoint you but it's kinda true. Sammy is slowly dying withe the "help" of Nuclear 7. All my friends that have a Sammy either sold their phones because of this, either plan on selling them. The funny thing is a friend of mine now has trouble selling his N7 because nobody wants to buy it. :))
I wouldn't use a Sammy phone now even if they gave it to me for free and pay me extra.
I mean how moron do you have to be to carry an armed melting grenade in your pocket or to your ear??
Even though I'm not a Sammy boy toy I pity them. It's always better to have multiple choices.
Hopefully nothing bad will happen to the next SD830 as Sammy seems that will build them.
Why don't you post about iphone 7 exploding and that galaxy note 7 is as scratchproof as gorilla glass 4? Don't delete my comment again.
Nice move no one wants to die just because using something that is feared to explode
man i still on note 3 i was waiting for note 7 now i have to wait for note8 :(
mir, 10 Oct 2016The thing is even with a user replaceable battery, if it combusts, you still won't have enough... moreIt is time now phone manufacturers built a circuit breaker of some sort in all phone phones so that the battery is swiftly disconnected in an event of any short circuiting.
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2016same here Note 4 and now will wait for Note 8Perhaps when they launch the 8, they will come up with a new brand all together. Samsung Stylus 8 :-)
Live1, 10 Oct 2016Yes my bad it was released for only 24 hours carphone told me on day 1 release. And day 2 it ... moreWell yes. Now even that is debateable too. If you get a phone that was previously owned by someone else and it was sent back and all they did was replace the battery and then just send it out again to someone else then as I understand it, under UK law they cannot sell it as new and was someone able to prove, using say the IMEI, that happened Samsung would be in a lot of trouble.
To much bad useless publicy is going on around this device..
Don't like Samsung, ok go and buy something else..
But to say rip Samsung, for shame samsung, samsung will go done is just useless talk.
Just go on with your lives, this is not like it is the end of the world..
For all your pathetics out there who were waiting for Note 7, go and buy something else, there are a tone of other great phones.. but stop this stupid negative talk..
