nkwama, 11 Oct 2016Samsung never skipped Note 6 IFAIK. The Note series goes like.. Galaxy Note 1 Galaxy Note 2... moreThe Note Edge was out before the Note5 though so your 'logic' doesn't work. Samsung skipped the Note6 name for two reasons, to 'normalize' their lineup (S7 and Note7 in same year), and to compete with the iPhone 7 Plus (the average consumer will hear Note6 vs iPhone 7 and it will sting in their mind, the average consumer is dumb, always remember that)
Bro, 11 Oct 20164,7" screen and 7mm thick I suppose? For me that would be nice, dont mind if it is 9mm as long as no camera hump
Not having a Premium phone for sale over the Xmas period will really hit Samsung bad,but this will now make them Pull out or the Best options to make the Future Galaxy S8 phones the Best they have ever produced,Samsung should now stop worrying what Apple as to over and just try to please there Galaxy phone users,we lost there Best Selling options on the Galaxy S6 models + Note 5 trying to grab iPhone users and it back-fired on Samsung, they then bring back the Micro sd card slot on the Galaxy S7 phones and were more popular, but rushing out the Note 7 just because they were worried of the Apple iPhone 7 phones, will this Note 7 saga make Samsung bring back the removable battery option on there Premium phones,Samsung stop worrying in what Apple as to offer and concentrate on pleasing you Galaxy phone users

only note 7 is affected.
samsung loyal customers will stay loyal.
just buy the S7 edge instead of the Note 7 is you want a phablet.
only thing to lose is the S-Pen and iris scanner.
Am I the only one here who is seeing Nokia appearing out of dust and smoke with Terminator 2 theme music in the background??
Anonymous, 11 Oct 2016If one is to fit a 4000mah into a 4.7" 7mm compact, it is no difference than making another ex... morecorrect and in Asian countries the temperatures are so high anyway.
Removable battery max 3300 would be best.
AnonD-389018, 11 Oct 2016Oh Sami you lost your hardly earned reputation, finally you will have to drop your prices...Oh dear... you don't know the power of fanboyism.
people will start caring a lot more about batteries
and samsung forever will be known for it
but Everybody will keep buying them anyway
nkwama, 11 Oct 2016Samsung should put removable battery. I repeat, a battery that can be removed and re-inserted.... moreremovable batteries always. this is the moral of the story samsung !!!!!
sammy fans don't expect more accidents now that people are powering down their note 7 devices. lol
AnonD-196068, 11 Oct 2016And precisely how would the battery being user replaceable have stopped the phone being danger... moreIt wouldn't, but 3 fires were enough for them to send everybody a 5$ battery and everyone would be happy.
This news validates the fact that Samsung really is no different than any of the Chinese brands who can make comparable phones at dirt cheap prices. At the end of the day, may it be an iPhone, G or V series, an Xperia, a Mi, Honor, OnePlus, P series...this are the phones with numbers behind them and histories of Quality and Safety.
Samsung Mobile division currently stands at the top of the Market...but even Nokia did not experience their Flagship products exploding before they fall...especially in the age of INFORMATION.
The average person, those who aren't paid keyboard warriors, already knows the extent of exploding NOTE 7 and some S7 Edge phones. Ask around, the world is not one big bubble confined to GSMARENA or other blog sites. The people knows...and Samsung will know in months and years to come.
