I am looking forward for this device.
Due to keyboard, I am still using my Q5. Even after 3 years it's working fine. I am not worried about WhatsApp and Facebook. I use BBM.
But I will have to change someday. So this one will be the choice.

Can't say I'm enjoying the switch but I installed the Disa app which goes some way to mimicking the BB Hub. I found the official BB Hub for Android wasn't quite up to full functionality yet and had some strange quirks.

Android OS is for the techie crowd, it's simply too difficult for the average user to use without being so easily confused lol

Anticipating discontinuation of whatsapp moved to Cat60 android. Finding it so difficult to work. No speed dial, cannot open multiple applications without stopping the other. Eagerly awaiting BB with qwerty keyboard. Was planning to go for DTEK60 now will wait.
Simply dionysiac!

Pity it's not high end
Seems that I may not buy any other smartphones for a while...
time to save up for this one :)
If this really is 3x2, I'm selling my iPhone 6S Plus for this.
I"m waiting..... Yeeeaaahaaaaa...
Soon, this will be my backup phone, my main is the LG V20
QWERTY Keyboard you have been missed for a long time!!!
Love the design.
Things does get strange with BlackBerry nobody really knows what to expect.
i luv blackberry they are so shite its a joke
This is a great news for all the blackberry keyboard fans. Blackberry failed miserably with its software and apps improvements and it appears they kept blaming it on the keyboard however after stepping in the android world I believe bringing back the keyboard will be the right thing to do. I truly wish this happens soon.
physical keyboard is a great addition, specially for me, i have 2 phones, full touch screen for internet and games, and one for txting which is a non touch screen phone, the reason for that is i always miss type something when im using touchscreen phones, maybe my thumb is too big for touch phones.. im looking forward on buying this if it turns out to be great
Ruel-c, 18 Oct 2016I hope there will be a successor to the Blackberry Priv, I love that phone
I do too, but do not count on it. See their own posting on the matter

As I put in the comments there, I think our best hope is a solution with a standard device with a removable backplate, where the backplate gets interchanged with either a slider or a magnetic holder for a keyboard (see images of what I made for the Ip6-).
