All the sammy haters can eat that!
iPhone being equally prone to blasts.Seems like a bad time to buy a new smartphone. I'll lay off my wish to upgrade my Note3 for another few months although its running great on a custom 6.0.1 rom :D
that happen to buy iphone garbage and samsung too, go and buy quality phones such Sony or HTC OP3. samsung and iphone just did a good ads for their phones but r sh!t
After the Samsung Explosive 7 disaster, well what we got here? IFlame7!
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2016it wouldn't matter if you separated the battery. if the actual battery gets hot, which it will... moreProviding they're not under load, you can store them at 50c and they won't "explode." The battery changes resistance based on its temperature; the resistance won't matter very much if the battery isn't connected to the device. A greater resistance equates to a hotter battery when under load. You are wrong.
Phones nowadays with power of laptops run on biscuits batteries what to expect
its not apple or samsung faults both have a 7 number 7 number is unlucky for topdogs in smart phone industry that why plz dont use 7 number
People should definitely not let a phone or any lithium powered electronics ON inside a car when it's hot.
100% fake story. iPhones are horrible on their own, this story isn't needed to help their problems.
Except the Jeep one wasn't the phone.... The cause is undetermined. His story has changed as to where the phone was in the Jeep. And initial reports were that it started behind the dash... The Fire Investigator has said it probably wasn't the Note that started the fire. On top of the fact that Jeep Cherokee's have been recalled for randomly starting fire, his was running with the AC on, and was heavily modified by him. No one knows how good of a backyard mechanic the guy was.
Same here as well.. I used Nokia E7-00 and now using Nokia 625...Never had any over heating issues...Big fan of Nokia and Miss Nokia too...but missing feeling will end before Q2 of 2017...
Eske Rahn, 21 Oct 2016No matter WHAT brand, If a device gets to hot it OUGHT to have a self preserving circuitry, so... moreit wouldn't matter if you separated the battery. if the actual battery gets hot, which it will being under clothes in a car in their summer where the inside car temp is probably getting into the 50/60 degree C range.. nothing will stop that battery from exploding.
this is 100% customer issue.
if you read up on lipo batteries the max safe temp is not as high as you would think ..its only 50C, after that its chance of leakage or exploding is greatly increased.
Tucking Fypo, 21 Oct 2016what is happening this year in the smartphone industry???Just some iPhone and Samsung phones explodes. Nothing more. Go and buy Sony or HTC and you won't face any problems.
JohannesBR, 21 Oct 2016So? As long as it below 10, it's fine.fine below 10 at the expense of life and property?, you mean 2 more cars, 2 more houses then 2 more humans?, your apple device should be the 9th.
Am using Nokia phone since 2004. And Nokia Symbian C6-00(2011-2013) and later Nokia Lumia 520 and 525 till date I never had this problem nor heard any thing like this news about Nokia. I miss Nokia really very badly.
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2016Dude get a life.I've got a life!, if you doubt, cross the highway with a blindfold!
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2016Yip, tons of overheating issues on the XZ, just like I said in an earlier statement, phone ove... moreYes it over heats and when it does that it shows up a message and closes the camera app. You can be sure that it prevents the device from exploding.
They didn't say if battery was charging or not, most devices should support normal conditions until 60°C without catching in fire.
Romie Lee, 21 Oct 2016Just look at how both the Apple and Samsung hater will come about this. I love both company btw :)I also like Samsung, especially for their Design. For example A3 (2016) is just a Beauty! But I hate Samsung fanboys always bashing Apple for No reason (maybe they had a Bad experience like somebody used an iPhone and then Said shit about his Samsung), I think there aren't many Apple Fans doing that.
